Mrs. Betty Sue Hudgins of Campbellsville, daughter of the late G.T. and Jewell (Pike) Eubank, passed from this life on Monday, July 9, 2018 at the Baptist East Hospital in Louisville after an extended illness. Born on March 12, 1952, she was 66 years, 3 months, and 27 days of age. She was the devoted and cherished wife of Mr. Mitchell Hudgins, who survives. Mrs. Hudgins professed faith in Christ and attended the Beech Grove Baptist Church. She was a retired employee of the Fruit of the Loom factory in Campbellsville and loved her family dearly. She especially loved cooking and keeping a warm, inviting home.
She leaves to mourn her passing:

One daughter: Dereka Hardin of Greensburg,
Three siblings: Jimmy Eubank of Campbellsville, Shirley Clark and husband Charles of Russell Springs, and Kim Cain of Campbellsville,
One grandchild: Kyle Hardin,
In-laws: Ray Hudgins of Greensburg, David Hudgins of Louisville, Timmy Hudgins of Campbellsville, and Kay Hudgins of Campbellsville,
And a host of other family and friends.
She was also preceded in death by a sister, Sherry Rucker; a nephew, Todd Eubank; and three brothers-in-law, Robert Cain, Harold “Hudge” & wife Larkie Hudgins, and Louie Hudgins.
There will be a graveside funeral service to honor the life of Mrs. Hudgins on Wednesday, July 11, 2018 at 11:00 AM EST (10:00 AM CST) in the Green River Memorial Baptist Church Cemetery, 3441 Old Columbia Rd, Campbellsville, KY. Bro. Larry Rowell will be officiating.

Mrs. Mary Rebecca “Becky” Lovett of Campbellsville, daughter of the late James Wethington and Mellie Wethington, was born September 28, 1942 in Casey County.
She died July 9, 2018 at Hardin Memorial Hospital after an illness, being 75 years, 9 months, and 11 days of age.
She attended Campbellsville Baptist Temple where she made a profession of faith and was a Sunday School and children’s church teacher. She spent 40 years as an educator, teacher, and principal.
Becky loved storytelling, loved working with children, and loved her Lord. She loved working in her garden and spending time with her family.
She united in marriage to Danny Lovett on May 27, 2006.
Besides her husband, Danny Lovett, she is survived by:
Two daughters: Genise Oberson and husband Jonothan of Lebanon, and Sarah Sumners of Campbellsville,
One son: Daniel Lovett of Campbellsville,
Four granddaughters: Allison Bailey Sumners, Jaden Elizabeth Orberson, Marissa Lee Sumners, and Janelle Madison Orberson,
Two brothers: Eddie Wethington and wife Bonnie of Indiana, and Jack Wethington and wife Shelia of Campbellsville,
Two sisters: Eula Mae Buck of Campbellsville, and Ann Holmes and husband Junior of Columbia,
One aunt: Betty Douglas of Ohio,
Several nieces and nephews, and a host of other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her father, James H. Wethington, in 2002, her mother, Mellie C. Wethington, in 1998, and four siblings, William O. Wethington, Otho Wethington, Barbara Wethington, and Joseph Wethington.
Visitation will be from 6:00-9:00 PM on Wednesday, July 11, 2018 at the L.R. Petty Funeral Home, 1765 New Columbia Rd, Campbellsville, KY.
The funeral service will be held on Thursday, July 12, at 10:00 AM at the Campbellsville Baptist Temple, 1360 Old Hodgenville Rd, Campbellsville, KY. Bro. Jase Divens will be officiating. Entombment will follow in the Campbellsville Memorial Gardens Mausoleum.

Christine Graybeal Sprouse of Campbellsville, daughter of the late Milton “Spencer” Graybeal and Erie A. Ball Graybeal, was born February 11, 1924 in Taylor County, Kentucky. She died at 9:36 A.M., Saturday, July 7, 2018 in Campbellsville. She was 94 years, 4 months and 24 days of age.
She professed faith in Christ and was of the Church of God faith.
Christine was a retired employee of Phillip Morris in Louisville. In her spare time, she loved to read and enjoyed working in her flower garden.
She is survived by one son, Jerry Davis of Campbellsville; three grandchildren: Jeremy Daniel Davis, Jennifer Lynn Bell and Jacqueline Nicole Davis all of Campbellsville; four great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren; two sisters and three brothers: Shirley Sturtivan and husband, Clifford, Sue Bright, and Larry Graybeal all of Campbellsville, Bearl Graybeal and wife, Ruby of Corbin and Millard L. Graybeal of Louisville; several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends.
She was also preceded in death by the father of her son, Edgar Lee Davis; daughter-in-law, Sandra Davis; three brothers and two sisters: Roger Dale Graybeal, Thomas Eli Graybeal, Harold “Jack” Graybeal, Helen Thomas and Aileen McDaniel Huff.

Mr. Raymond Edward “Trae” Wells, III of Campbellsville passed from this life on Tuesday, July 3, 2018 at the Taylor Regional Hospital. Born on January 21, 1994 to Raymond Edward, Jr. and Cindy (Antle) Wells, he was 24 years, 5 months, and 12 days of age. He was a 2017 graduate of Lindsey Wilson College, and a member of Trinity United Methodist Church in Columbia. Mr. Wells had an energetic and outgoing spirit; his good-natured yet competitive energy on the soccer pitch or basketball court won him many lifelong friends. He loved most outdoor sports, and enjoyed relaxing on the lake.
He leaves to cherish his memory:

Gavin Dale Vetter, a resident of Home of the Innocents in Louisville, formerly of Campbellsville, son of Tim Vetter and Christy Davis Quinn, was born May 22, 2003, in Taylor County, Kentucky. He died at 10:42 P.M., Sunday, July 1, 2018 in Louisville. Age: 15
When Gavin was able, he would attend Broadway Church of Christ.
He is survived by his mother and step-father, Christy Davis Quinn and husband, Ryan of Campbellsville; his father, Tim Vetter of Indianapolis, Indiana; sister, Haley Vetter of Campbellsville; maternal grandmother, DeeDee Davis of Elk Horn; paternal grandparents, Randall and Judy Vetter; great-grandmother, Janette Parrott; step-grandmother, Theresa Yates all of Campbellsville; uncle, Jordon Davis of Campbellsville; aunt: Anita Vetter Nolen and husband, Rob of Lexington; special friend, Donna Southerland; several other aunts, uncles and many other relatives and friends.

Michael Wesley Karnes of Greensburg, the son of the late Edgar Alvin and Lilly Belle Sexton Karnes, was born, Sunday, December 25, 1949 in Taylor County, KY and departed this life on Sunday, July 1, 2018 in Louisville at the VA Medical Center. He was 68 years, 6 months and 6 days of age.
He had made a profession of faith in Christ and was of the Protestant Faith. He was a Veteran of the United States Air Force, having served during the Vietnam Era and was a carpenter by trade.
He is survived by a son: Wesley Karnes of Greensburg; a sister: Geraldine Jones and husband Bill of Missouri and a host of other relatives and friends.
Mr. Karnes was preceded in death by a sister: Rosemary; three brothers: Billy, Alfred and Bobby.
The funeral service for Michael Wesley Karnes will be conducted Thursday, July 5, 2018 at 12:00 P.M. EST in the chapel of the L.R. Petty Funeral Home in Campbellsville with burial to follow in the Lebanon National Cemetery with full Military Honors by the Marion County Veterans Honor Guard.

Donald Goff of Campbellsville, son of the late Homer Goff and Alice “Eva” Bennett Goff, was born December 6, 1941 in Hart County, Kentucky. He died at 8:05 P.M., Saturday, June 30, 2018 in Louisville. Age: 76
He professed faith in Christ and was a lifelong member of Friendship Baptist Church.
Donald was a former Ferrier, lifelong farmer, avid outdoorsman, a gardener and to say he was a horse lover would be putting it mildly.
He united in marriage to Ellen Buchanan May 27, 2001.
Besides his wife, Ellen B. Goff of Campbellsville, he is survived by three daughters: Angela Leonard and husband, John of Wilmington, Delaware, Allyson Bagwell and husband, Bo of Versailles and Mindi Goff of Campbellsville; two grandsons: Connor Burton of Campbellsville and Andrew Dick of Panama City, Florida; one great-grandson, Travis Dick of Panama City, Florida; a special grand-dog, Ike Bagwell; two sisters and two brothers: Geraldine Jones and husband, Milton of Campbellsville, Phyllis Wagster and husband, John of Michigan, Dwayne Goff and wife, Della of Drakesboro and Glenn Goff of Greenville; several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends.

Jim Milby of Campbellsville, son of the late Earl Milby and Allie Wood Milby, was born June 30, 1947 in Taylor County, Kentucky. He died at 3:50 A.M., Saturday, June 30, 2018 in Campbellsville. Age: 71
He professed faith in Christ and was a member of Mt. Roberts Baptist Church.
Jim served his country honorably in the United States Army. He was a retired employee of UPS and was as a member of the Pitman Masonic Lodge #124 F & AM.
Jim united in marriage to Linda Phipps on July 25, 1970.
Besides his wife, Linda Milby of Campbellsville, he is survived by one son and one daughter: Jeremy Milby and wife, Sarah of Campbellsville and Nicole Milby of Lexington; five grandchildren: McCall Milby, Keegan Milby, Myla Milby, Jake Gupton and Hannah Gupton; two brothers and one sister: Bill Milby, Bob Milby and wife, Jane and Lucille Orange of Campbellsville; his mother-in-law, Faye Colvin; one sister-in-law and one brother-in-law, Kathy George and Kenneth Phipps all of Campbellsville; several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends.

Mrs. Sona Michelle Shaw passed away unexpectedly at her home in Campbellsville on Tuesday, June 26, 2018. Born February 23, 1964 to the late Samuel Gabbert and Lyda May (Price) Martin, she was 54 years, 4months, and 4 days of age. She was a homemaker and wife to Mr. Harold Keith Shaw, who preceded her in death. Mrs. Shaw suffered several disabilities in her life, but she lived as independently as possible, both in body and spirit. She professed faith in Christ and attended the Campbellsville Baptist Church when possible.
She leaves to mourn her passing:
Three siblings: Freda Wash of Nicholasville, James Corbin and wife Deborah of Campbellsville, and Lloyd David Gabbert of Tennessee,
Several nieces and nephews, and other family and friends.
She was also preceded in death by six siblings: Paula Faye Cox, Rita Mae Hafley, Juanita Jo Morgeson, Charlene Brockman, Marlene Bell, and Jessie Samuel Gabbert.
There will be a funeral service to honor the life of Mrs. Shaw on Sunday, July 1, 2018 at 12:00 PM in the chapel of the L.R. Petty Funeral Home, 1765 New Columbia Rd, Campbellsville, KY. Mrs. Shaw will be laid to rest beside her husband in the Ryder Cemetery, E. Main St, Lebanon, KY 40033.
