 Dallas Graybeal of Campbellsville, son of the late Bascom Graybeal and Alice Osborne Graybeal, was born August 24, 1936, in Taylor County, Kentucky. He died at 5:57 P.M., Saturday, February 17, 2018 in Campbellsville at age 81.
He professed faith in Christ and attended Palestine Baptist Church.
Dallas was a very skilled carpenter and worked hard at everything in life. He was self employed where he installed windows, doors and worked with aluminum siding which is similar to the experts found right here at Maverick Windows. Even though he loved working, nothing compared to his love for family.
He united in marriage to Frances Herron April 20, 1957 and she preceded him in death April 3, 2016.
He is survived by one daughter and son-in-law, Delitha and Mark Shreve of Campbellsville; his chosen children: Van Herron and wife, Maurita, Audrey Robison, Arvin “Bubby” Herron and wife, Wanda, Lester Herron, Robert Kearney and wife, Judy and Dee Dee Sinclair and husband, Walt; four grandchildren: Jessica Coghill and husband Tim, Lesley Newton and husband, Troy of Campbellsville, Lindsey Coppock and husband, Chris of Lenoir City, Tennessee and Shawn Shreve of Knoxville, Tennessee; nine great-grandchildren; two sisters: Ruby Hixson and husband, Ronald and Carolyn Smith and husband, Don of Campbellsville; sister-in-law, Pauline Graybeal of Campbellsville; and good friend, Denny Brown; several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends.
He was also preceded in death by two brothers and three sisters: Wilma Herron, Opal Shofner, Georgia Graybeal, Herbert Graybeal and Smith Graybeal.

 Arletia Vincent Rucker of Campbellsville, daughter of the late Rev. Stanley R. Vincent and Christine Wilson Vincent, was born December 31, 1950, in Warren County, Kentucky. She died at 6:03 A.M., Saturday, February 17, 2018 in Campbellsville. Age: 67
She professed faith in Christ and was a member of St. Andrews United Methodist Church.
Arletia was a retired employee of Fruit of The Loom in Campbellsville after thirty one years.
She united in marriage to Raymond Rucker October 20, 1981.
Besides her husband, Raymond Rucker of Campbellsville, she is survived by one daughter, Kristin Sexton and husband, Benson of Campbellsville; stepchildren: Steve Rucker and wife, Katrina of Murfreesboro, Tennessee, Mike Rucker and wife, Beverly of Clarksville, Tennessee and Sandy Edwards of Campbellsville; six grandchildren: Kate Sexton, Max Sexton, Candice Rucker, Matthew Rucker, Shelby Warner and Dustin Warner; one brother, Aaron Vincent of Campbellsville; many other relatives and friends.

David Louis “Buck” Veatch of Campbellsville, son of the late William Val Veatch and Annie Lee Shipp Veatch, was born February 14, 1945 in Taylor County, Kentucky. He died at 11:29 A.M., Friday, February 16, 2018 in Campbellsville. Age: 73
He professed faith in Christ and was a member of Campbellsville Baptist Temple.
Buck was a retired employee of the City of Campbellsville Street Department.
He was an avid horseback rider and one of his favorite things to do was working in the hay fields. He also loved operating heavy equipment.
He united in marriage to Faye Judd on August 31, 1974.
Besides his wife, Faye Judd Veatch of Campbellsville, he is survived by three sons: Brian Veatch and Tammy Gibbs Simpson of Campbellsville, Kevin Veatch of Lexington and Matthew Veatch and Trisha Burton of Richmond; four grandchildren: Brittany Michelle Veatch, Avrie Giselle Veatch, Brennan Ryan Veatch and Bradley Louis Veatch; one great-granddaughter, Kennedy Elizabeth Inman; one sister and three brothers: Janice Sallee and husband, Delmar, William Lee Veatch, Carl Veatch and Billy Veatch and wife, Mary Ann of Campbellsville; several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends.
He was also preceded in death by one son, Bobby Louis Veatch November 2, 2017 and two sisters: Mary Ann Veatch and Linda Faye Veatch in infancy.

 Bro. David Eugene Detty of Campbellsville was born on September 9, 1952 in Chillicothe, Ohio to the late David H. and Geraldine (Anderson) Detty. He departed this life on Thursday, February 16, 2018, being 65 years, 5 months, and 6 days of age. Bro. Detty professed faith in Christ and was the current minister of the Southside Christian Church. He was married to Karen (Gower) Detty, who survives. Bro. Detty was a man driven by his convictions, and he held himself accountable for his daily actions. He took pleasure in God’s nature and enjoyed most outdoor activities, from hunting and fishing, to farming and raising crops, to reaching for his potential on the softball fields.
He leaves to carry his legacy:

One daughter: Jennifer Stetson of Fredericktown, Ohio,
One son: Kenneth Detty of Indianapolis, Indiana,

He was also preceded in death by a daughter, Cara Ann Detty.
There will be a memorial service to honor the life of Bro. Detty at 5:00 PM on Wednesday, February 21, 2018 at the Southside Christian Church, 2831 Elkhorn Rd, Campbellsville, KY. Mr. Kenneth Detty and Bro. Fella Wilson will be officiating. His ashes will be interred in Ohio at a later date.
The family will receive friends at the church on Wednesday, Feb. 21, after 4:00 PM.

Alice Marie Cox Humes, 43 years, 25 days of age, of Campbellsville, formerly of Fort Wayne, Indiana, died Tuesday, February 13, 2018 at Taylor County Hospital after a brief illness.
Marie was born on January 19, 1975, in Fort Wayne, Indiana, the daughter of the late Carmen, “J.V.” Cox and Dawn Kay Trout Cox who survives. Preceding her in death were her grandparents, Hubert and Evelyn Cox and grandmother, Jonita Trout.
She attended Campbellsville University and Spencerian College where she received her degree as a Certified Nursing Assistant. In her spare time, she enjoyed the outdoors, listening to music and dancing. She had been attending Elkhorn Baptist Church,
Besides, her mother, Marie is survived by her husband, James William Humes, a daughter, Chelsey Adcock, 3 sons, Dawson Adcock, C.J. Cox and Harley Rodgers as well as her step-daughter, Brooklyn Humes all of Campbellsville. Also surviving is a brother, Jeramie Cox of Campbellsville, her grandfather, Paul Trout, grandparents, Alice and David Nicolet an aunt, Star Trout, all of Indiana as well as several other aunts, uncles and a host of other relatives and friends.
Funeral Service for Alice Marie Cox will be Friday, February 16, 2018 at 1:00 p.m. at Lyon-DeWitt-Berry Funeral Home with Brian Rafferty officiating. Burial will follow in Jones Chapel Cemetery with bearers being Buddy Tate, Tommy Price, T.J. Milby, Tyler Goodin, Dawson Adcock and James Price.
Visitation will be Thursday, February 15, 2018 from 5:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. at Lyon DeWitt-Berry Funeral Home.

 Mr. Archie E. Brown of Campbellsville was born on October 22, 1946 to the late Jolie and Angie Eythel (Stanton) Brown. He departed this life on Monday, February 12, 2018 at his home after a sudden illness. He was 71 years, 3 months, and 21 days of age. Mr. Brown professed faith in Christ and attended the Beulahland Community Church. He was a retired truck driver and the husband of Bea (Corbin) Brown, who survives.

 Mr. Gary Wayne Stapleton of Elkhorn passed away on Saturday, February 10, 2018 at the Otterbein Senior Life Center in Franklin, Indiana. Born on June 30, 1945 in Adair County to the late Dempsey and Mary Eunice (Scott) Stapleton. He was 73 years, 7 months, and 11 days of age. Mr. Stapleton retired from the road after several years as a truck driver. He had made a profession of faith in Christ and was of the Baptist faith. He was a talented woodcarver and painter, and had a knack for repairing small engines, and loved collecting trinkets and building handmade toys.
He leaves to cherish his memory:

 Mr. William E. “Pete” Perkins of Campbellsville was born in Green County on February 27, 1936 to the late James E. and Alma (Coakley) Perkins. He departed this life on Friday, February 9, 2018 at the Taylor Regional Hospital after a brief illness. He was 81 years, 11 months, and 13 days of age. Mr. Perkins had made a profession of faith in Christ and was a member of the St. Andrews United Methodist Church. He was a retired insurance agent and husband of Mrs. Mildred Perkins, who survives. As a young man of honor, he served his country with dignity in the United States Army. Mr. Perkins enjoyed athletic activities; he often relaxed by playing a round of golf or watching the University of Kentucky Wildcats. He loved introducing kids to sports and was an umpire and coach for many years in the American Legion Youth Baseball league.
He leaves to cherish his memory:

Jannie Louise McKay, 92 years, 4 months and 6 days of age, of Lebanon, died, Thursday, February 8, 2018 at her home in Lebanon after a brief illness
Louise was born October 2, 1925 in Lebanon the daughter of the late Willie and Birdie Chandler Hart. She was preceded in death by her husband Charles McKay as well as their son, Walter McKay and two daughters-in-law, Hattie McKay and Shirley McKay.
Throughout her life, hard work was no stranger to Ms. Louise, having worked at General Motors, a furniture store, Holly Hill Motel and was a member of the Golden Girls. As the matriarch of the McKay family, she leaves many wonderful memories that will stay with them for years to come. As one of the children said, she liked to take the rod of correction and introduce it to the seat of understanding. She was of the Baptist faith and a member of Tucker Hill Baptist Church in Lebanon.
Surviving are her sons, Josh McKay and wife Helen and Emmett McKay and wife Nannie, both of Lebanon, Calvin McKay and wife Susan and Eugene McKay of Campbellsville, Robert McKay of Memphis, two daughters, Wanda Johnson and husband Byron of Bowling Green and Julia McKay of Lebanon. A brother survives, John Hart of Lebanon and her close friend Elizabeth Johnson as well as 14 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great grandchildren.
The funeral service for Louise McKay will be on Tuesday, February 13, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. at First Baptist Church in Lebanon with Bro. Dale Smith officiating. Bearers will be sons, Josh McKay, Calvin McKay, Eugene McKay, Robert McKay, Emmett McKay and son-in-law, Byron Johnson with burial in Tucker Hill Cemetery in Lebanon.
The family request visitation on Monday, February 12, 2018 from 5:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. at First Baptist Church in Lebanon.
