Rev. Robert B. Oldham of Campbellsville, son of the late Robert Bruce Oldham, Sr. and Lessie Mae Rogers Oldham, was born November 24, 1924, in Jefferson County, Kentucky. He died at 10:23 P.M., Tuesday, July 14, 2015 in Campbellsville. Age: 90
He was a veteran of World War II having served his country honorably in the United States Marine Corps where he participated in the Okinawa Campaign and in the occupation of Yokosuka, Japan and attained the rank of Sergeant. He was also a veteran of the Korean Conflict serving his country honorably in the United States Air Force as Assistant Base Chaplain.
He professed faith in Christ and was a member of Campbellsville Baptist Church where he was a Sunday School teacher for several years.
He attended Campbellsville University, Western Kentucky University, Michigan State University and was a graduate of Southern Baptist Seminary in Louisville.
He was a retired pastor and teacher having served churches in South Carolina, Tennessee, Kentucky, Michigan and Missouri. He was on the faculty of Campbellsville University, Missouri Bible College, Moody Bible Institute, Clearcreek Baptist Bible College, and St. Catherine College.
He united in marriage to Virginia Pruitt April 16, 1947 and he called her his faithful companion in all of his ministries. She preceded him in death July 7, 2007.
He is survived by one son and one daughter: John S. Oldham and wife, Marilyn of Lansing, Michigan and Mary Milby and husband, Roy of Eads, Tennessee; four grandchildren: Kristy Sweet and husband, Lincoln of Spring Hill, Tennessee, Stacey Oldham of Lansing, Michigan, Matthew Milby and wife, Kara of Tulsa, Oklahoma and Joshua Milby of Memphis, Tennessee; one sister, Jeanne Carothers of Central Point, Oregon; several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends.
He was also preceded by two brothers and one sister: Richard Oldham, Edith Oldham and Roger Oldham.

Jeanne Sue Pierce of Cloverport, daughter of Dewel Eugene “Gene” Pierce and the late Ruby Kennedy Pierce, was born August 8, 1959, in Daviess County, Kentucky. She died at 7:30 P.M., Sunday, July 12, 2015 in Owensboro.
Age: 55
She professed faith in Christ and was of the Church of God faith.
She was a former law enforcement employee.
She is survived by her father, Dewel Eugene “Gene” Pierce of Campbellsville; one half-brother and one half-sister: Wallace Herbert Cook of Owensboro and Janet Randolph of Greenville; three aunts and one uncle, Louise Manasco, Geneva Hunt and Juanita Perkins of Campbellsville and Kenny Pierce of Allendale; special cousin, Donna Hash of Campbellsville; and several cousins and many other relatives and friends.

Lindsey Murriel McDonald, age 64

Lindsey Murriel McDonald, 64, formerly of Campbellsville died Sunday, July 12, 2015 in Harrodsburg, KY.

He was born on February 13, 1951 to the late Otha and Heidi Hoosier McDonald in Campbellsville.

A man of many talents, he worked at various jobs including several years doing masonry work.  An entrepreneur, he enjoyed making a deal.  While he enjoyed the outdoors, he could also be found playing a game of chess or checkers. Being very charismatic, he enjoyed spending time with friends and making new ones.

He is survived by a son, Michael McDonald and his wife, Heather, of Harrodsburg; a daughter, Robyn Phillips and her husband, Jason, of Monticello, 6 grandchildren, Isaiah Phillips, Brayden Phillips, Gracelyn Phillips, Faith Phillips, Amelia McDonald and Barrett McDonald; a brother, Norman McDonald, of Russell Springs and a sister, Margaret Werner and her husband, Paul of Tennessee.

Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by three brothers, David McDonald, Weldon McDonald and Harvey McDonald.

Funeral service will be held at 3:00 p.m. Thursday, July 16th at Lyon-DeWitt-Berry Funeral Home with burial in Jones Chapel Church Cemetery with military honors provided by the Marion County Veterans Honor Guard.

The family request visitation from 1 to 3 p.m. Thursday, prior to the service.

Wendy Lee Bricken, age 64, of Campbellsville, died Sunday, July 12, 2015 at Taylor Regional Hospital in Campbellsville, KY.

Wendy was born July 21, 1950 in Cleveland, OH to the late James and Josephine (Jakoboski) Zemito.

She was a member of South Campbellsville Baptist Church.  After working for Fruit of the Loom for 15 years, Wendy cleaned houses and sat with the elderly.  Her life was centered around serving others and she spent much of the money she made on others, especially young people.

She is survived by her husband, Randall Lynn Bricken, Sr., two sons, Randall Lynn Bricken, Jr. and his wife, Becky and Keith Alan Bricken and his wife, Monica, all of Campbellsville; two grandsons, Coty Alexander Bricken and Logan Nathaniel Bricken; two brothers, Jimmy Zemito, and his wife, Mary, of Texas and  Jeffrey Zemito of Ohio.

She was preceded in death by her sister, Linda (Barry) Morris.

The funeral will be held 1:00 pm on Wednesday, July 15, 2015 at Lyon-DeWitt-Berry Funeral Home, 503 E. Main St., Campbellsville, KY with Bro. Ronnie Dooley and Bro. Tim Coghill officiating.  Burial will be in Campbellsville Memorial Gardens, Campbellsville on Wednesday, July 15 at 2:00 pm.

Arvella Kearnes of Campbellsville, daughter of the late Everett Sprowles and Rhea Beard Sprowles, was born August 16, 1946, in Larue County, Kentucky. She died at 10:52 A.M., Saturday, July 11, 2015 in Greensburg. Age: 68
She professed faith in Christ and was a member of Palestine Baptist Church.
She was an employee of Fruit of the Loom for over thirty years.
She united in marriage to Richard Kearnes December 12, 1964.
Besides her husband, Richard Kearnes of Campbellsville, she is survived by two sons: Keith Kearnes and wife, LaDonna and Jason Lee Kearnes of Campbellsville; five grandchildren: Shea Kearnes, Kyndel Kearnes, Kamryn Kearnes, Megan Teel and Jonathan Walters; two great-grandchildren: Tristan Teel and Rori Jaggers; one sister, Thelma Grimes of Campbellsville; several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends.
She was also preceded in death by a daughter, Karen Gail Kearnes and three brothers and one sister: Dencil Sprowles, Herman Keith Sprowles, James Sprowles and Mattie Durham.

She professed faith in Christ and attended Campbellsville First Church of God.
She was a retired teacher and librarian with the Campbellsville Independent School System.
She united in marriage to Leon Hadley April 5, 1947. He preceded her in death August 12, 1968.
She united in marriage to Howard W. Curry December 2, 1978. He preceded her in death March 16, 2008.
She is survived by two sons and two daughters: Ronnie Hadley and wife, Janice of Campbellsville, Gary Hadley and wife, Sue of Knifley, Joanetta Hadley and Marilyn Martin and husband, Scott of Campbellsville; six grandchildren: Melissa Shelton and husband, Greg, Jason Hadley and wife, Christee, Patrick Phillippe, Jaclyn Rakel, Kyle Martin and fiancée, Brittany Eubank, and Emily Hadley; seven great-grandchildren: Joshua Shelton, Karlee Rakel, Liliana Prokup, Micah Prokup, Tobias Hadley, Elias Hadley and Iris Hadley; one brother and one sister: Clifford McDaniel, Jr. and wife, Ernestine of Anderson, Indiana and Bonnie Perkins of Campbellsville; several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends.

Shirley Lee Willis Warren, age 78, of Campbellsville died Wednesday, July 8, 2015 at University of Louisville Hospital in Louisville, KY.

Shirley was born July 10, 1936 in Taylor County, KY and retired from Union Underwear.  She preceded in death by her husband, Eugene Martin Warren and a sister, Gladys Bright.

She is survived by son, Connel Willis, Jr., Clarkson, KY;  three daughters, Judith May Geron, Campbellsville, KY;  Joyce Ann Black and her husband Aemmer of Minnesota and  Deborah Overstreet, and her husband, Rod of Campbellsville; a step son, Dwight Gene Warren, of Campbellsville; three sisters, Geneva Routin, and her husband, Wilkie, of Jeffersonville, IN;  Betty Parker, and her husband, Alan and  Esther Cox, of Campbellsville, 9 Grandchildren, 13 Great-grandchildren, 1 Step-granddaughter, 2 Step-great granddaughters.

The funeral will be held 11:00 am on Saturday, July 11 at Lyon-DeWitt-Berry Funeral Home, Campbellsville, KY with Rev. Scott LaDue officiating.  Burial will be in Campbellsville Memorial Gardens.

The family requests visitation on Friday, July 10 from 4-8 pm and Saturday, July 11 after 8 a.m. at Lyon-DeWitt-Berry Funeral Home.

Hash PicMr. Walter Gene Hash, the son of the late Howard and Eva Milby Hash, was born July 4, 1932 in Green County and departed this life on Tuesday, July 7, 2015 in Louisville at the St. Mary and Elizabeth Hospital. He was 83 years of age.
He had made a profession of faith in Christ and was a member of the Zion Separate Baptist Church in Taylor County. He was a former mechanic, he loved race cars, watching nascar racing, fishing and scratchoff lottery tickets.
Survivors include two daughters and two sons: Sheila Blevins and husband Chuck and Christina Hash, Todd Hash and Tony Hash and wife Tina all of Louisville; a sister: Rita Hash Durrett and husband Donald of Summersville; a brother: Dennis Hash and wife Connie of Louisville and a host of other relatives and friends.
Besides his parents he was preceded in death by a son: Michael Douglas Hash in 1965, three brothers: Russell, Butch and his twin brother Tommie Gene Hash and two sisters: Lucille and Lillian Hash.

The funeral service for Mr. Walter Gene Hash, will be conducted Friday at 11 AM in the chapel of the L.R. Petty Funeral Home with burial to follow in the Zion Cemetery. Rev. Ronda Arnett will be officiating.

He was a former employee of Coca Cola Company.
He is survived by one son and daughter-in-law, Robbie and Samara Bell; four grandchildren: Ethan Dobson, Cheyenne Bell, Austin Bell and Mattie Bell; his mother, La Verne Bell of Campbellsville; several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends.
He was also preceded in death by a brother, Jeffrey Bell November 27, 2008.

He was a retired employee of Tennessee Gas Transmission Company and loved boating and repairing outboard motors.
He united in marriage to Emma Lou Holtzclaw June 4, 1950.
Besides his wife, Emma Lou Mings he is survived by one daughter, Lisa Baldwin and husband, Bill of Hilton Head Island, South Carolina; two grandsons, Blake Baldwin of Charleston, South Carolina and Brock Baldwin of Charlotte, North Carolina and many other relatives and friends.
