Martha W. McCubbin of Campbellsville, daughter of the late Wilbur Wethington and Bea Stayton Wethington was born July 7, 1929 in Adair County, Kentucky. She died at 4:47 P.M., Friday, December 25, 2015 in Campbellsville. Age: 86
She professed faith in Christ and was a member of Campbellsville Christian Church.
She was a former employee of Parks Belk department store.
She united in marriage to Ray McCubbin on December 6, 1947. He preceded her in death on April 13, 2009.
She is survived by two daughters: Connie Moyers and husband, Joe of Lexington and Terri Chandler of Campbellsville; four grandchildren: Jesse Moyers, Leslie Moyers and husband, Brian Rich, of Lexington, Lindsay Rae Johnson and husband, Scotty of Morgantown, and Laura Chandler of Campbellsville; five great grandchildren; one sister, Melva Beard and husband, J.T. of Chatham, Louisiana.
She was preceded in death by a son-in-law, Bobby Cates.

Pauline Mann Mardis of Campbellsville, daughter of the late John Marion Mann and Irene Riedel Mann, was born April 2, 1927 in Gary, Indiana. She died at 1:58 P.M., Wednesday, December 23, 2015 in Campbellsville. Age: 88
She professed faith in Christ and was a member of Spurlington United Methodist Church.
She united in marriage to Charles Mardis September 29, 1945. He preceded her in death December 7, 2007.
She is survived by four daughters: Carolyn Patterson and husband, John, Connie Colvin and husband, Rodney, Tammy Minor and husband, Timmy and Lisa Wade and husband, Darren of Campbellsville; seven grandchildren: Andrea Farmer and husband, Jason, Kevin Munday and fiancé, Crystal McNear, Natalie Rood and husband, Brandon, Amy Milby, Dexter Colvin and wife, Becca and Raven Colvin and fiancé, Travis Clark of Campbellsville and Cynthia Munday Armes and husband, Todd of Hardinsburg; two step-granddaughters: Kim Daulton and husband, Travis of Somerset and Beth Trimble and husband, Marty of Richmond; nine great-grandchildren: Jordan Armes, Ava Armes, Jacey Claire Farmer, Mayci Abney, McKenna Rood, Luke Colvin, Cade Colvin, Hadley Milby and Avery Munday; four step-great-grandchildren: Austin Daulton, Evan Daulton, Ben Trimble and William Trimble; one brother, Gordon Mann and wife, Lorena of Campbellsville; several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends.

Robert Paul “Robbie” Roution, Jr., age 31, of Bradfordsville died Tuesday, December 22, 2015 in Campbellsville. Robbie was born in Campbellsville on March 10, 1984 to Paul and Sheila Tucker Roution of Bradfordsville. Also surviving are his grandparents, Samuel and Eddie Roution, of Bradfordsville; uncles and aunts, Donnie and Hilda Roution of Merrimac, Jimmy and Tammy Roution, of Mannsville, Barry and Sue Roution, of Campbellsville, Donna and Paul Gabbert, Connie and Kerry Jones, Ronnie Tucker and Jerry Tucker, all of Knifley and several cousins. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Lynn and Hildred Tucker.
Robbie was a graduate of Taylor County High School and was a member of the Church of Christ.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, December 27th at Lyon-DeWitt-Berry Funeral Home with Bro. Steve Lee officiating. Burial will follow in the Merrimac Church Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers are John Roution, Chase Roution, Clay Roution, Jimmy Roution, Barry Roution, Colton Morgan, Jonathan Jacobs, Chad Morgan, and Dakota Morgan.

Mr. Leland Ray Sammons, the son of the late Steely and Susie Walters Sammons, was born January 1, 1942 in Corbin, KY and departed this life on Monday, December 21, 2015 in Lexington at the UK Medical Center. He was 73 years of age.
Survivors include: nine children: Gale Sammons, Michael Sammons, Philip Sammons, Anthony Ray, Matt Ray and Ray May, and locally: Patricia Howard, Kay Wright and Ronda Sammons, all of Campbellsville; two brothers: Bob Sammons and wife: Lefelsee and Buster Sammons and wife Tammy, all of Ohio; a close friend: Eddie McFarland.
Also surviving is a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren and other relatives and friends.
The funeral service for Mr. Leland Ray Sammons, will be Saturday, December 26, 2015 at 12 Noon EST in the chapel of the L.R. Petty Funeral Home in Campbellsville with cremation to follow.

Debbie Ann Ortiz, the daughter of the late Kenneth James and Lorraine Malone Briggs, was born November 19, 1958 in North Miami, Florida and departed this life on Monday, December 21, 2015 in Campbellsville at her home. She was 57 years of age.
She had made a profession of faith in Christ and was of the Methodist Faith. She was a manager of a storage company.
Survivors include her husband: Juan Ortiz of Campbellsville; a son: Shawn Ortiz of Campbellsville; a sister: Patricia Bandke and husband Dan of Georgia.
Also surviving are two grandchildren: Caleb and Austin Ortiz; nieces and nephews: Jacob, Dylan and Danielle Bandke.
Debbie was preceded in death by a sister: Bonnie Greenlee.
At the request of the family there will be no visitation or funeral at this time.

Shirley Ann Cheek, age 74, of Sparta, Georgia, formerly of Campbellsville, died Sunday, December 20, 2015 in Macon, Georgia.
She was born April 29, 1941 to the late Grayden and Ruby Jackson Rhule in Louisville, Kentucky. She had moved from Campbellsville to Georgia 16 years ago.
She is survived by her husband Bobby Dee Cheek of Sparta, Georgia; two sons, Billy Joe Carmickle and his wife, Debbie of Campbellsville and Terry Carmickle and his wife, Donna, of Louisville; a daughter, Lorie Carmickle of Campbellsville and several grandchildren.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, December 26th at Lyon-DeWitt-Berry Funeral Home in Campbellsville with burial to follow in the Callahan Cemetery.

Wallace Parke of Campbellsville, son of the late Roscoe Parke and Rebecca Anderson Parke was born September 6, 1931 in Cumberland County, Kentucky. He died at 9:15 P.M., Sunday, December 20, 2015 in Greensburg. Age: 84
He professed faith in Christ and was a member of St. Mark United Methodist Church.
He served his country honorably in the United States Army.
Wallace was a retired employee of Fruit of the Loom in Campbellsville.
He united in marriage to Eleanor Murrell September 4, 1954.
Besides his wife Eleanor Parke, he is survived by one daughter and son-in-law, Brenda and Mike Sullivan of Campbellsville; one daughter-in-law, Cheri Parke of Campbellsville; five grandchildren: Sarah Wilson and husband, Mike, Amanda Hughes and fiancé, Scott Hess of Campbellsville, Jason Sullivan of Ft. Mabel Lucille Cox Newton of Cave City, formerly of Louisville and Campbellsville, daughter of the late Ballard Cox and Eva Melissa Taylor Cox was born November 1, 1932 in Henry County, Kentucky. She died at 8:00 A.M., Saturday, December 19, 2015 in Cave City. Age: 83
She professed faith in Christ and was a member of the Grace Community Church in Shepherdsville.
She was a loving mother and homemaker.
She united in marriage to Kyle Cawthorne who preceded her in death.
She united in marriage to Ansel Newton who also preceded her in death.
She is survived by three daughters and two sons and their spouses: Barbara and Donnie Price of Cave City, Pam and Larrie Hazelwood, Gina and Buster Newton, and Barry and Diane Cawthorne of Louisville, and Terry and Donna Cawthorne of Ft. Mrs. Dorothy Corbin Petty, a lifelong resident of Adair County, was born on February 26, 1934 to the late Frank and Nora Sneed Corbin. She departed this life on Friday, December 18, 2015 at the T.J. Samson Community Hospital in Glasgow. She was 81 years, 9 months, and 22 days of age. At the age of 20, she devoted her life to her best friend Malcolm Petty, and together they shared over 37 years of marriage before his passing. She professed faith in Christ and was of the Baptist faith. She took great pride in her family and cherished the times they spent together. Always gracious, she rarely asked for things for herself, preferring instead to give to others. Mrs. Petty loved to find beauty and peace in both people and nature. Some of her favorite pastimes were sitting outside with her neighbors and watching the redbirds around her bird feeders, then going back inside to share stories and jewelry.
She leaves to carry her legacy:
Five children: Dale (Lisa) Petty of Columbia, Lyndell Petty of Campbellsville, Rita Faye (Jimmy) Shive of Edmonton, JoAnn (Richard) Marshall of Lexington, and Connie (Barry) McCloud of Columbia,
Three siblings: Arnold Corbin of Columbia, Martha Parrish of Magnolia, and Frances Coomer of Columbia,
Ten grandchildren: Tonya Neal, Michelle Petty, McKenzie Petty, Tyler Marshall, Ben Marshall, Ryan Shive, Isaac Petty, Kailey Petty, Brandon Petty, and Aaron McCloud,
Ten great-grandchildren,
And a host of other family and close friends.
Mrs. Petty was also preceded in death by five siblings, James Corbin, Ollie Corbin, Mary Gowen, Irene Crawhorn, one brother in infancy, and one great-grandchild, Emma Grace Shive.
There will be a funeral service to honor the life of Mrs. Dorothy Petty on Monday, December 21, 2015 at 12:00 PM EST (11:00 AM CST) in the chapel of the L.R. Petty Funeral Home, 1765 New Columbia Rd, Campbellsville, KY 42718. Bro. Larry Wisdom will be officiating.
Mrs. Petty will be laid to rest beside her husband in the Fudge Cemetery, Independence Ridge Rd, Columbia, KY 42728. Her grandsons will serve as pallbearers, and her granddaughters will serve as honoraries.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday, December 20, after 5:00 PM EST (4:00 PM CST)
