Nora Hazel Henson Wade of Campbellsville, daughter of the late Marvin Henson and Elizabeth Perkins Henson, was born August 25, 1914, in Taylor County, Kentucky. She died at 4:10 P.M., Wednesday in Campbellsville. Age: 100
She professed faith in Christ and was a member of Mt. Zion United Methodist Church.
She united in marriage to James B. Wade December 19, 1936. He preceded her in death June 27, 1968
She is survived by three daughters: Nellie Mardis and husband, Eugene, Marie Cox, Barbara Jean Bowen and husband, Randy; one daughter-in-law, Linda Wade all of Campbellsville; thirteen grandchildren: Charlene Becker, Lisa Wade, Donna Dudgeon, Stephanie Fuson, Shelly Wade Combs, Sherry Strobel, Gary Mardis, Timmy Mardis, David Mardis, Chris Bowen, Doug Bowen, Darren Wade, Jason Wade; twelve great-grandchildren; nine great-great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by two sons: Charles Thomas Wade and Bernard Wade; four sisters: Ida Hawkins, Julia Karnes, Pauline Sapp and Eliza Hicks.

Earl Byron Smith of Campbellsville, son of the late Earl Thomas Smith and Bessie Orene Davis Smith, was born April 28, 1934, in Taylor County, Kentucky. He died at 8:00 P.M., Thursday in Campbellsville. Age: 80
He professed faith in Christ and was a member of Palestine Baptist Church.
He served his country honorably in the United States Army.
He was the former manager of Time Finance Company, former owner of Whitlock Insurance Agency, and a farmer.
He united in marriage to Della Ann Whitlock June 17, 1956.
Besides his wife, Della Ann Smith, he is survived by one son and one daughter: Binky Smith and wife, Rhonda of Campbellsville and Jenny Smith and husband, Dr. Scott Smith of Pikeville; eight grandchildren: Loren Smith Mattingly and husband, David of Lebanon, Logan Thomas Smith of Mayfield, Seth Earl Byron Smith of Campbellsville, Raina Hansford Simpson and husband, Dustin of Somerset, Emily Ann Cox VinZant and husband, Whitney of Kansas City, Missouri, Evan Lee Cox of Lexington, Hunter Smith of Pikeville and Max Smith of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania; three great-grandchildren: Oaks Mattingly, Oliver Mattingly and Deacon Simpson; several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by one brother and one sister: Ralph Smith and Evelyn Colvin.

Grover Graham of Campbellsville, formerly of Crestwood, son of the late Monroe Vernon Graham and Elsie Noel Graham, was born March 2, 1924 in Taylor County, Kentucky.
He died at 1:15 P.M., Wednesday, September 3, 2014 in Campbellsville. Age: 90
He professed faith in Christ.
He was a veteran of World War II having served his country honorably in the United States Army. He was a member of the C.C.C. Camp of Caldwell, Idaho in 1941 and in 1943 was drafted to the United States Army where he was a member of the 13th Air Borne division, spending most of his time in France. He was honorably discharged February 3, 1946.
He was a retired carpenter and finisher retiring from the Cralle Corporation in Crestwood when he was 72 years of age.
He united in marriage to Dorothy Williams Bell in 1964. She preceded him in death November 11, 1988.
He is survived by one step-son, Samuel Lee Bell; two step-grandchildren: Robbie Bell and Carrie Humphress of Campbellsville; two sisters: Verniece Taylor and husband, Marshall and Corrine Sublett and husband, Leonard of Campbellsville; several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends.
He was also preceded in death by one step-grandson, David Bell and three brothers and two sisters: Charles Vernon Graham, George Thurman Graham, Ray Graham, Edna Graham and Ruby Turner.

Woodrow Nelson, of Campbellsville, son of the late Charlie Thomas Nelson and Laurie French Nelson Grimes was born March 10, 1931 in Marion County, Kentucky. He died at 11:01 P.M., Wednesday, September 3, 2014 in Lexington. Age: 83
He professed faith in Christ and was of the Baptist Faith.
He was a veteran of the Korean Conflict having served his country honorably in the United States Army.
He was a retired roofing contractor.
He united in marriage to Doris Jean Bodkins April 27, 1963.

Mrs. Grace Ann Jones
Mrs. Grace Ann Jones, the daughter of the late Ina Dell Harris Sholer and Jesse Lee Poole, was born April 24, 1963 in Strong, Arkansas and departed this life on Tuesday, August 26, 2014 in Campbellsville, KY at her residence. She was 51 years of age.
Survivors include: a son: Jason Howard Poole of Oklahoma; two sisters: Lewanda Orr and Lana Walsh, both of Norman, Oklahoma; two brothers: Mike Berry of Oklahoma and Randy Poole of Strong, Arkansas; her companion: Robert West of Campbellsville.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister: Rebecca Sue Cates on May 7, 2009.
A memorial service and burial will be held in Oklahoma at a later date.

Bobby Shofner of Campbellsville, son of the late Oscar W. Shofner and Alma Sidebottom Shofner, was born January 12, 1949, in Taylor County, Kentucky.

He professed faith in Christ and was a member of Green River Memorial Baptist Church.
He was a retired employee of Taylor County Bank after twenty-five years of service.
His love for horses began as a child and his favorite pastime was trailriding.
He united in marriage to Linda Shipp December 20, 1968.
Besides his wife, Linda Shofner of Campbellsville, he is survived by one brother and one sister: Larry Shofner and wife, Glenna and Aletta Johns of Campbellsville; two nieces and four nephews: Brandi Graham and husband, Jody, Samantha Shipp, Scott Shipp and wife, Andrea of Campbellsville, Adam Johns and Eric Johns of Lexington and Adam Shipp of Elizabethtown; three great-nieces and four great-nephews: Dayne Graham, Addison Shipp, Skyler Shipp, Sully Graham, Mason Shipp, Kade Shipp and Cameron Shipp; and many other relatives and friends.

Mattie Kathleen Helm Clements White, age 78, of Campbellsville died Monday, August 18th in Campbellsville. She was born July 13, 1936 at Merrimac, KY to Troy and Anner Lou Bottoms Helm.
She is survived by two sisters, Helen Gribbins Clements of Campbellsville and Wanda Benningfield of Louisville; three brothers, Walter Helm of Campbellsville, Kenny Helm Bandy of Louisville and Darryl Tedder of South Carolina; an aunt, Lilly Graves of Indiana; two close friends, Charleen Shofner and Muriel Green and a special niece, Maureen Seaborne. She had no children, but helped raise her nieces and nephews.
Kathleen had been married to the late Udell Clements and to James B. White of Campbellsville and was preceded in death by her three sisters, Rosie Helm Gribbins, Bonnie Helm Hancock and Ethel Helm Graham.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday at Lyon-DeWitt-Berry Funeral Home with burial in Jones Chapel Cemetery. The family requests visitation after 5:00 p.m. Wednesday at Lyon-DeWitt-Berry Funeral Home.
