Helen VanDyke of Campbellsville, daughter of the late Carter Netherland and Olivia “Levia” Smith Netherland was born October 5, 1925 in Taylor County, Kentucky. She died at 9:08 P.M., Friday, February 7, 2014 in Campbellsville. Age: 88
She professed faith in Christ and was a member of Shiloh Cumberland Presbyterian Church where she served as an Elder and Clerk of the Session.
She was an employee of the Sears Store for many years.
She united in marriage to Chester Gordon VanDyke October 12, 1946. He preceded her in death October 23, 2011.
She is survived by one son and daughter-in-law, Ike and Laurie VanDyke of Campbellsville; two grandsons: Greg McDonald and wife, Shannon of Campbellsville and DeWayne McDonald and wife, Angela of Lebanon; six great-grandchildren: Jasmine McDonald, Dalton McDonald, Austin Adams, Erin McDonald, Tyler McDonald and Madison McDonald; one great-great- grandson, Mason Keith Arnett; one brother and sister-in-law, James S. and Beulah Netherland of Campbellsville; several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends.
She was also preceded in death by one daughter, Wanell VanDyke McDonald, November 7, 2006.

Mrs. Carina Sue Bault of Campbellsville gained her mansion on Saturday, February 8, 2014. She had been granted 71 years, 4 months, and 24 days in this life. Mrs. Bault passed her loving and caring spirit on to her two children, who survive. Before her retirement, she was employed as a factory worker at the Batesville Casket Company, Fruit of the Loom, and TG KY. She had made a profession of faith in Christ, and was of the Church of God faith.

Shirley Reynolds Hedgespeth of Campbellsville, daughter of the late Willard Morgan and Catherine Knopp Morgan, was born in Taylor County, Kentucky, April 7, 1940.
She died at 11:16 A.M., Friday, February 7, 2014 in Campbellsville. Age: 73
She professed faith in Christ and was a member of Good Hope Baptist Church.
She was a retired loan officer and Senior Vice President at Citizens Bank and Trust Company, having been employed at the bank for thirty-two years.
She was a member of the Rotary Club of Campbellsville, serving as Secretary and President.
She was a member of the Leadership Campbellsville/Taylor County and a member of the Taylor County Republican Women.
She united in marriage to Ralph Hedgespeth in May 2010.
Besides her husband, Ralph Hedgespeth, she is survived by one daughter and four sons:

Clayton Hunt of Campbellsville, son of the late Jimmie Hunt and Julia Caulk Hunt, was born in Marion County, Kentucky, January 3, 1927. He died at 2:13 P.M., Wednesday, February 5, 2014, in Campbellsville. Age: 87
He professed faith in Christ and was a member of Mt. Washington Baptist Church.
He was a retired farmer.
He united in marriage to Maxine DeWitt October 9, 1948.
Besides his wife, Maxine DeWitt Hunt of Campbellsville, he is survived by three sons and two daughters: Gary C. James (Jim) Bauman of Campbellsville, formerly of Melbourne, Florida son of the late Wilson Bauman and Helen Wilson Bauman, was born in Salem, Oregon, May 11, 1943. He died at 11:50 P.M., Saturday, February 1, 2014 in Campbellsville. Age: 70
Now retired, he graduated as a civil engineer and spent most of his career as a building contractor. For thirteen years Jim worked as administrator for the Tabernacle Church where he also served as elder and Bible study leader. Before moving to Campbellsville, he attended Calvary Chapel and it’s Breaking Bread for men as well as going to a number of mission trips. He also enjoyed his time spent as a volunteer at the Brevard Zoo and doing Meals on Wheels
He united in marriage to Charlene Wenz December 19, 1964.
Besides his wife, Charlene Bauman, he is survived by two daughters and one son: Becky Pinson and husband, Brian of Campbellsville, Debbie Heger and husband, Scott of Wesley Chapel, Florida and James Bauman of Melbourne , Florida; six grandchildren: mother and father-in-law: Lillian Irving and husband, Harry of Melbourne, Florida; sister-in-law: Bonnie DiCrocco and husband, Val of Melbourne, Florida; four nephews.

LYNN LOFTIN WALDROP
Mrs. Lynn Loftin Waldrop of Campbellsville, daughter of the late Murray Lynn Loftin and Leona Spears Loftin, was born in Nashville, Tennessee, January 16, 1937. She died at 12:10 P.M., Friday, January 31, 2014 in Louisville. She was 77 years old.
Lynn was an active member of the Bethel First Presbyterian Church since 1962.
She united in marriage to John C. Waldrop, August 23, 1957.
She is survived by her husband, John C. Waldrop, one daughter, Diane Waldrop Burrow and husband, Brett, Brentwood, Tennessee. Two sons, Jeffrey Lynn Waldrop and wife, Deborah, McKinney, Texas and John David Waldrop and wife, Tammy, Georgetown, Kentucky. Eight grandchildren; John Stephen Waldrop and wife, Katie, Lynn Ellen Waldrop, John Zachary Waldrop, Warren Baxter Waldrop, Victoria Rae Reynolds, Private David Connor Waldrop and wife, Heather, Robert Reed Burrow, and Paige Loftin Burrow. Two great-grandchildren, Lynnlee Waldrop and Jayce Parker Waldrop. Howard G. Wheatcroft

Howard G. Wheatcroft passed away peacefully January 27th 2014. He was born April 27, 1920, in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada and moved with his parents to Montana by covered wagon at the age of two. He was the son of the late John and Mary Wheatcroft.
Howard enlisted in the US Navy just a few days before Pearl Harbor was attacked in 1941. He served on the USS Maryland and USS Gwinn during during WWII in the Pacific and participated in many of the major beach landings. He was also present at the signing of the surrender of Japan. He separated from the Navy in December 1945 and this was the same month that he married his sweetheart, Eula Grace Williams of Campbellsville, Kentucky, in 1947, he enlisted in the US Army Air Corp which soon became the US Air Force. Howard had a very distinguished career in the USAF reaching the rank of CMSgt, Highest enlisted rank in the United States Air Force. During his Air Force enlistment, he and his family lived in several foreign countries and throughout the United States. He was retired from the USAF in 1969 after 27 years of service to the country.
At retirement, Howard moved his family to Campbellsville, Kentucky, where he started his tax and bookkeeping business and soon opened a H&R Block Tax service. He soon became a district manager with H&R Block which him to Danville, Kentucky. He retired from Block in 1977. He was very active in his church and was a very Godly gentleman.
Howard was predeceased by his wife, Eula and daughter, Sandi Bergman. He is survived by his son, Alan Wheatcroft and Alan’s wife Suzie of Bessemer, Alabama who he lived with for the final decade of his life. Howard is also survived by by grandchildren, Alicia Hassman of Westfield Center, Ohio, Amy Snyder of Holly Springs, North Carolina, Daniel Wheatcroft of Tucson, Arizonia, Bob Pruett of Tucson, Tara Sheilds of Palmdale, California and Andrew Bryant of Phoenix, Arizona. He is also survived by six great-grandchildren.
Funeral services for Mr. Howard Wheatcroft will be held at 11 AM Monday at the Lyon-DeWitt-Berry Funeral Home with burial in the Campbellsville Memorial Gardens with full military honors by the Marion County DAV Honor Guard.
The family request visitation from 2 to 5 PM Sunday at the Chapel of the Lyon-DeWitt-Berry Funeral Home.
Expression of sympathy can be in the form of Gideon Bibles and can be made at the funeral Home.
