Alta Graham Roberts, age 88, of Campbellsville, died Saturday, May 15, 2010 at 4:00 AM at Taylor Regional Hospital after a short illness.
She was the daughter of the late Burr and Martha Ethel Graham of Clinton County Kentucky (May 20, 1921). She was preceded in death by her husband, Jonathan Paul Roberts (December 25, 1990), one son Floyd E. Roberts (May, 1993), and one brother Roy Graham.
She is survived by one daughter and son-in-law Alice M. and (Ira) Powers of Campbellsville, and four sons Bobby & Joy Roberts, of Kokomo, Indiana, Jonathan A. & Deborah Roberts, of Scottsburg, Indiana, Daniel and Becky Roberts,of New Castle, Indiana, Samuel and Roberta Roberts , of Kokoma, Indiana. 13 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren , one sister, Sally Thurman of Albany, Kentucky, several nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.
Funeral services for Alta Graham Roberts will be conducted at 2 p.m. Monday at Lyon-DeWitt Funeral Home and visitation will be after 1 p.m. Monday at Lyon-DeWitt Funeral Home and at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Salem Primitive Baptist Church in Haggerstown, Indiana with burial in the church cemetery. Visitation at Salem Primitive Baptist Church at 1 p.m. Tuesday. L yon-DeWitt Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.

(Columbia, KY) – A memorial service for fallen Trooper Johnny M. Edrington will be held at the Brookside Cemetery in Campbellsville, KY on Friday, May 14 at 11:00 AM EDT. Trooper Edrington was shot and killed Dec. 21, 1988, during a traffic stop on KY 80 seven miles west of London in Laurel County. No suspect has ever been apprehended.
