Joyce Daugherty of Campbellsville, daughter of Gladys Smith Shipp Pennington and the late John Edgar Shipp, was born February 10, 1942, in Taylor County, Kentucky. She died at 9:58 P.M., Sunday, January 10, 2010, in Franklin, Indiana. Age: 67
She professed faith in Christ and was a member of the Salem Baptist Church.
She was a former employee of Delco Electronics in Kokomo, Indiana.
She united in marriage to Billy ldquo;Peterdquo; Daugherty November 24, 1960.
Besides her husband, Billy ldquo;Peterdquo; Daugherty of Campbellsville, she is survived by two daughters: Pennye Parsons and husband, Steve of Greenwood, Indiana and Toni Brock and husband, Andy of Peru, Indiana; five grandchildren: Paul Parsons, Whitney Parsons, Bradley Parsons, Lauren Brock and Adam Brock; her mother, Gladys Shipp Pennington of Campbellsville; brother and sister-in-law, John and Mary Shipp of Campbellsville; brother-in-law, Louis Shipp of Campbellsville; and several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by a sister, Peggy Noel Shipp November 18, 2001.

Fuller Harding of Campbellsville, son of the late Abel Turner Harding and Mary Moore Harding, was born August 23, 1915, in Taylor County, Kentucky. He died at 2:00 P.M., Sunday, January 10, 2010 in Campbellsville. Age: 94
He professed faith in Christ and was a member of the Campbellsville Baptist Church.
He was a veteran of World War II, having served his country honorably in the United States Navy for three and one-half years.
He was a graduate of Carson Newman College and the University of Louisville School of Law and practiced law in Campbellsville for many years. He was Taylor County Attorney for twenty-four years.
He was a former Kentucky State Representative and was on the Campbellsville University Board of Trustees.
He united in marriage to Willye R. Crawford in 1967. She preceded him in death September 13, 1996.
He united in marriage to Martha Tucker Gaddie Burress August 23, 2008.
Besides his wife, Martha Tucker Gaddie Harding of Campbellsville, he is survived by two step-daughters: Rosalind Tender and husband, John W. of Lexington and Elizabeth Tillotson and husband, Nathan of Tulsa, Oklahoma; four step-grand children; brother-in-law, Bob Gaddie of Campbellsville; two nieces: Mary Luker of Austin, Texas and Jane Mauldin of New Braunfels, Texas; and many friends.
He was preceded in death by one brother and two sisters: Turney Harding, Clara Harding Craddock and Mary Lois Felts.

John Schuhmann 87
John Schuhmann, age 87 of Ferrell Lane, Campbellsville died Sunday, January 10, 2010 at Grandview Nursing Home after an illness.
He was the son of the late Richard Leo and Louise Bosler Schuhmann. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Martha Ann Wehrle Schuhmann. He was a former owner of Schuhmann Printing Company in Louisville, retired Postal Delivery Carrier and farmer.
He is survived by three sons and their spouses, Fred and Betty Sue Schuhmann, Richard Rosemary Schuhmann all of Campbellsville, Stephen and Paula Schuhmann of Danville, eight grandchildren, David Schuhmann, DiAnne Harris, Aaron Schuhmann, Jeffrey Schuhmann, Michael Schuhmann, Alyson Schuhmann, Matthew Schuhmann, Jacob Schuhmann, nine great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be conducted at 10AM, Wednesday, January 13, 2010 at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church with burial to follow in the church cemetery.
Family request visitation 5-8 PM, Tuesday, January 12, 2010 at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church.
Prayer services will be conducted at 4:30 PM, Tuesday at the church.

Harrison Richardson, age 88, of Dragway Lane, Campbellsville, died Sunday, January 10, 2010 at Taylor Regional Hospital after an illness.
He was the son of the late, Earnest and Elsie Richardson. He was preceded in death by his wife Esther Ruth Richardson on August 23, 2003. Also preceding him in death were his brothers, Roy, Archie and Jesse Richardson, and son-in-law, Doug Parker. He was retired from Fruit of the Loom and was a farmer.
He is survived by children and spouses, Earnest and Judy Richardson, Stella and Donnie Thompson and Millie Parker all of Campbellsville, two grandchildren and spouses, Lisa and Terry VanMeter and Melinda DeSpain all of Campbellsville, three great grandchildren, Cody and Austin VanMeter and MaKenzie DeSpain all of Campbellsville.

James Bert Viers, age 82, of Burress Hollow Road, Elk Horn, died Saturday, January 2, 2010, at his residence following an illness.
The son of the late James and Littie Viers of Casey Creek, KY. He was a farmer by trade.
He is survived by his wife Mary Allen Viers of Elk Horn, four sons and daughters-in-law William Henry and Marilyn Viers, Gary James and Debbie Viers, and Randy Stanley Viers all of Campbellsville, Larry Allen Viers of Greensburg, three daughters and sons-in-law Joy and Sherrill Rawlings of Lebanon, Teresa and Ray Richardson of Louisville, and Verly Bown of Campbellsville, four step sons Thomas and Linda Bryant, Larry Eugene and Pam Bryant, Dennis and Ruth Bryant all of Liberty, Danny and Ann Bryant of Louisville, one step daughter Ella Mattingly of Danville, fifteen grandchildren and twenty great-grandchildren.

Joyce Dean Slinker Campbell of Campbellsville, daughter of the late Nathan Slinker and Matra Karnes Slinker, was born in Columbia, Kentucky, April 16, 1939. She died at 4:20 P.M., Thursday, December 31, 2009, in Campbellsville.
Age: 70
She united in marriage to Virgil Davis Campbell June 17, 1967. He preceded her in death December 2, 2007.
She professed faith in Christ and was a member of the Campbellsville Baptist Temple.
She was a homemaker, worked at Fruit of the Loom for eleven years, Walmart for eleven years, and several years as a caregiver for her husband.
She is survived by one son and one daughter: Ricky Janes and wife, Lisa and Shannon Bishop and husband, Derek; three grandsons: Jonathan Janes and wife, Carla, Benjamin Janes, and Campbell Lane Bishop; two step-grandchildren: Whitney Spurling and Wade Burton; one great-grandson, Brayden Taylor Janes; one step-great-grandson, Zachary Gibson; all of Campbellsville; one nephew, Gary Slinker of Eufala, Alabama; and many friends.
She was also preceded in death by one daughter, Rhonda Gail Campbell April 11, 2003 and her brother, Woodruff Slinker July 14, 1965.

Lillie Mae Dicken, age 81, of Roland Street, Campbellsville, died Friday, January 1, 2010, at Medco Nursing Home and Rehabilitation Center after an illness.
She was the daughter of the late John and Nannie Rector. She was a retired food service provider of Taylor County Regional and a member of South Campbellsville Baptist Church.
She is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law Jim and Dorothy Dicken of Campbellsville, David and Lisa Dicken of Bonnieville, KY, one daughter and son-in-law Carolyn and Ricky Osborne of Campbellsville, two step-daughters Geraldine Wheat of Campbellsville, and Anna Mae Mitchell of Arizona, four grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, along with a host of other relatives and friends survive.

She professed faith in Christ and attended Millers Chapel United Methodist Church.
She was a retired employee of Fruit of the Loom in Campbellsville.
She united in marriage to Jimmy Wheeler April 28, 1962.
Besides her husband, Jimmy Wheeler of Campbellsville, she is survived by one son and one daughter: Greg Wheeler and wife, Stephanie of Lexington and Stacey Greenawalt and husband, Geoff of Frankfort; four grandchildren: Drew Greenawalt and Sarah Greenawalt of Frankfort and Bradley Wheeler and Bryan Wheeler of Lexington; two brothers and one sister: Harold Smith and wife, Winona of Campbellsville, David Smith and wife, Kay of Richmond and Marianne Markert and husband, Bill of Shelbyville; and several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends.

Edward Lee Mardis, age 77, of Jeffries Road, Hodgenville, died Tuesday, December 29, 2009 at Hardin Memorial Hospital after an illness.
He was the son of the late Lenuel and Mattie Farmer Mardis. He was also preceded in death by two brothers, Clinton Mardis and Bill Mardis, three sisters, Marie Short, Irene Short and Dorothy Mardis.
