Wymon “Buster” Harmon, 60

Wymon “Buster” Harmon of Leavenworth, Kansas, formerly of Campbellsville, son of the late Charles Clifford Harmon and Mabel Huston Harmon, was born in Taylor County, Kentucky, February 7, 1950. He died at 4:08 P.M., Thursday, June 24, 2010 in Leavenworth, Kansas. Age: 60
He had been employed in demolition work.
Survived by two sisters and two brothers: Velma Jean Lowman and husband, Mark of Berkley, Michigan, Mildred Barnett of Campbellsville, Terry Harmon of Lexington and Ernest C. Harmon of Georgetown, Indiana; several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by three brothers and four sisters: James Edward Harmon November 14, 1939, Norman Jean Harmon October 6, 1941, Diane Harmon July 26, 1947, Garnett Ray Harmon December 30, 1983, Wallace “Bo” Harmon January 31, 1998, Margaret Bishop August 15, 2001 and Edith Harmon October 20, 2004.

Campbellsville traffic signal to be out temporarily Wednesday morning

ELIZABETHTOWN, Ky. (June 22, 2010) — The traffic signal at the intersection of U.S. 68 and Columbia Avenue in Campbellsville will be temporarily out of service Wednesday morning because of planned electrical work in the area.

A Kentucky Utilities crew will be working near the intersection from 6:30 a.m. to 8:30 a.m. EDT. Motorists should treat the intersection as a four-way stop while the signal is off.

         Adrian Marie Denham, infant daughter, of  Scott and Angela Denham of Columbia  was stillborn on June 21, 2010.

         She was preceded in death by her grandparents David and Barbara Denham.

Besides her parents she is survived by two brothers, Joshua Epperson and Jacob Roby of Columbia, two sisters, Ceanna Denham of Greensburg and Amory Denham of Columbia, grandparents, Rosalie Faulkner and Greg Kirkland of Campbellsville.

         Graveside services will be conducted at 10AM, Wednesday, June 23, 2010 at Campbellsville Memorial Gardens.

Altha Lois DeSpain, 85

       Altha Lois DeSpain, age 85, of South Carden St., Campbellsville died Friday, at Taylor  Regional Hospital.

         She was the daughter of the late Albert and Zanie Allen. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Sherman DeSpain on February 2, 2008, one step-son, Lerman DeSpain, one daughter, Brenda Allen, grandson, Benny Jackson, two brothers, Lilburn Allen and Albert Allen, Jr., two sisters, Goldie DeSpain and Nova Nemus.

         She is survived by two sons, Larry DeSpain and Donnie DeSpain of Campbellsville, two daughters, Frances Cook of Campbellsville and Barbara Bell of Lebanon, twelve grandchildren, several great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren.

         Funeral services will be conducted at 1PM, Monday, June 21, 2010 at the Lyon-DeWitt Funeral Home with burial to follow in Campbellsville Memorial Gardens.

         He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Irene Cox.

         He is survived by his father , Roger Burton and mother,  Connie Burton both of Campbellsville, one daughter, Leha Green of Indiana, one brother, Wade Burton of Campbellsville, two sisters, Amy Harrison of Louisville and Cassie Tungate of Illinois, grandparents, George W. Cox of Elkhorn, Kyle Burton of Columbia, Margie Stigall of Campbellsville,  special cousin, Christopher Cox of Campbellsville and special friends, Terry McDonald and Brittany Milby.  Also surviving are uncles, aunts and host of friends.
