The Taylor County Sheriffs Department is currently investigating a stolen 4 wheeler taken from the residence of Bobby Burress located at 5204 Speckridge Road. A red and black 2007 450 Polaris 4-wheeler was taken sometime during the late evening hours of 8/10/2010 or the early morning hours of 8/11/2010. Any one with information about the case or the where abouts of the 4-wheeler is asked to contact the Taylor County Sheriffs Office. The owner of the 4-wheeler, Mr. Burress, is offering a $1000.00 reward for information leading to the recovery and prosecution of the individual or individuals involved in the theft.

Bobby Matherly of Campbellsville, son of the late James Franklin Matherly and Mae Shofner Matherly was born in Taylor County, Kentucky, June 2, 1934.
He died at 6:50 P.M., Friday, August 13, 2010, in Louisville. Age: 76
He professed faith in Christ and was a member of the Campbellsville Christian Church where he served as a Deacon.
He served his country honorably in the United States Army.
He was retired from Parker-Kalon after some thirty-five years service and a farmer.
He united in marriage to Carrie Richeson May 25, 1957.
Besides his wife, Carrie Richeson Matherly, he is survived by one son and one daughter: Michael Matherly and wife, Heather of Campbellsville and Kim Johnson and husband, Jimmy of Alvaton, Kentucky; seven grandchildren: Kellye McIntyre and Megan Green and husband, Mark of Bowling Green, Danae Rooker, Philip H. Matherly, and Sarah Matherly of Campbellsville, and Jerrit Dahlquist and Megan Parker of Holland, Michigan; four great-grandchildren: Brooklyn Rooker of Campbellsville, Taylor Green of Bowling Green, and Sophia Bolger and Lily Bolger of Holland, Michigan; four sisters: Doyle Webster, Ann Dile and husband, Frank, Virginia Shields, and Sharon McKee of Campbellsville; several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by two brothers and two sisters: Thomas Franklin Matherly, Norman Matherly, Sue Ellen Matherly, and Doris Matherly.
