Ella Katherine Montgomery Dile of Campbellsville, daughter of the late Claude Cundiff and Lela Malone Thomas Cundiff, was born September 21, 1921, in Shelby County, Kentucky. She died at 6:20 A.M., Friday, July 17, 2009 in Bardstown. Age: 87
She professed faith in Christ and was a member of the Campbellsville Baptist Church.
She had been employed by Fruit of the Loom as a seamstress and Taylor Regional Hospital as a nursersquo;s aid.
She was a former Board member of the Lake Cumberland Community Services Organization.
She united in marriage to Delbert Montgomery who preceded her in death.
She united in marriage to Finis Dile who preceded her in death.
She is survived by two daughters and two sons: Betty Philpott of Campbellsville, Vicky Bungard of Imperial, Pennsylvania, Garnett Wayne Montgomery of Jeffersonville, and Billy Montgomery of Dover, Kentucky; fourteen grandchildren; twenty-one great-grandchildren; one brother and one sister: Tom Cundiff of Campbellsville and Jean Rogers of Chicago; several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by one daughter, Sue Gabehart and one sister, Laverne Crouch.

She was employed in the cleaning profession.
She professed faith in Christ and was of the United Pentecostal Faith.
She is survived by two sons: Donald Cook and William Cook of Campbellsville; six grandchildren: Logan Cook, Sarah Cook and Kelsey Cook of Russell Springs,
Ma Kenna Cook, Johnna Georgia Cook and John Briar Cook of Campbellsville;
her mother and step-father, Doris Wooley and Roy Wooley of Liberty; father, Eddie Wells of Louisville; two brothers and one sister: Eric Wells and Michael Wells of Liberty and Ramonna Owens of Louisville; one half-brother, Roy Wooley, Jr. of Campbellsville; several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends.

He was the son of the late Willie and Goldie Crum, he was also preceded in death by his brother, John Hickman, sisters, Norma Jean Harrison, Opal Melton and Joyce Henderson.

She united in marriage to Ralph Hedgespeth June 1, 1963.
Besides her husband, Ralph Hedgespeth of Campbellsville, she is survived by one son and daughter-in-law: Bobby and Jessica Hedgespeth of Campbellsville; one unborn grandson, Chase Thomas Hedgespeth; four sisters and three brothers: Audrey Cowherd, S. L.
