Dave Frances, 69, of Elkhorn, Kentucky, son of the late Lawrence Frances and Antoinette Nastri Frances was born April 29th, 1954, in New Haven, Connecticut, and departed this life on Tuesday, August 15th, 2023, at his home surrounded by family.
He was united in marriage to Ms. Grace Frances on December 7th, 2003. She survives.
Dave professed faith in Christ and had a personal relationship with his Lord and Savior. He played steel guitar and enjoyed making music with his daughter and neighbors. Dave and his wife formerly owned Frances Farm Equipment in the Elkhorn community.
Besides his wife, Dave is survived by:

Bryson Conley Skaggs, of Campbellsville, the son of Gerald and Brandy (Hawkins) Skaggs of Campbellsville was born March 9, 2005 in Marion County and departed this life on Friday, August 4, 2023 in Lebanon at the Springview Hospital as the results of an automobile accident. He was 18 years of age.
He was a 2023 graduate of Taylor County High School and was of the Christian Faith.
He loved to hunt, fish and just being outdoors, he enjoyed riding his four wheeler and texting with his friends.
Besides his parents, he is survived by a sister: Kaylee Brown and companion Landon Pike; a brother: Josh Brown and wife Lindsey; his grandparents: Marlene and Trent Tucker, Mary and Paul Sprowles and Ronnie Brown.
Also his special friend and high school sweetheart: Linda Couch; uncles: Matt Rainwater and Troy Brown, who was very special to him; an aunt: Lindsey Tucker; a niece: Kinslee Grace Brown; cousins: Madison and Makalya Tucker.
Bryson was preceded in death by grandparents: Ricky Hawkins, James Skaggs, Bonnie Williams and Floy Hawkins.
The funeral service for Bryson Conley Skaggs will be Tuesday, August 8, 2023 at 1:00 P.M. in the Campbellsville chapel of L.R. Petty Funeral Home with burial to follow in the Mt. Carmel Cemetery in Taylor County.
Bro. Steve Willis will be officiating.
Family requests visitation from 5-8 P.M. in Monday at the funeral home.

Mr. Colby Deener, Taylor County, Ky., died August 1, 2023 in the same house in which he was born on October 19, 1927 of the union of the late John W. Deener and Willie Lear Sullivan Deener. Mr. Deener was the youngest of his siblings: Lillian Deener (James) Richerson, Robert C. (Gladys) Deener, Annie Mae Deener (Turner) Wayne, Walter (Eva) Deener, Dorothy Deener (Wayne) Kessler, James W. (Jean) Deener, Ora Lee (Leslie) Morris, all of whom predeceased him.Colby Deener married Gloria Mae Reynolds in 1949 and would have celebrated their 74th wedding anniversary on August 6, 2023. They have four children, Larry C. (Martha) Deener, Deronda M. (Deener) David Eastridge, Jeffrey A. (Kimberly) Deener and Bradley N. (April) Deener, seven grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.Mr. Deener was a career farmer in the Saloma area, farming land originally purchased by his father in 1904. He served on dairy cooperative and farming support organization boards. He was a Kentucky Colonel. He was a lifelong member of the Pleasant Hill Baptist Church and served as a Deacon. He served in the U. S. Army from 1946-1947.

Terra Dawn Coppage of Campbellsville, KY, daughter of the late Elton Wayne Coppage and Phyllis Ann Wooley Coppage, was born February 2, 1982 in Campbellsville, KY and departed this life on Tuesday, August 1, 2023 at Jewish Hospital in Louisville. She was 41 years of age.
She had professed faith in Christ and was of the Baptist faith. She was a homemaker, and loved her grandbabies. She enjoyed Folgers coffee, UK basketball, the Pittsburg Steelers and was a storyteller.
She is survived by six children: Ryan Jeffries and fiancé Caron, Austin Jeffries and their Dad: Jason Jeffries and her best friend Dawn Jeffries, Spencer Bates, Chloe Bates, Jackson Bates, Hunter Bates.
Three grandchildren: Bentley Evans, Aubri Evans, and Layla Jeffries
Eight brothers and sisters: Tim Coppage (Traci), Todd Coppage and fiancé Emily, T.J. Coppage (Melody), Tina Mershon (Elgin), Tammy Coppage, Tracy Coppage, Tonya Craig (Barry), Toni Coppage, and a half-sister Sheila Simpson (Tom).

Reba Lee (Allen) Martin of Campbellsville, KY, daughter of the Harve Allen and Meldie Owens Allen, was born October 10, 1929 in Cumberland County, KY and departed this life on Tuesday, August 1, 2023 in Campbellsville. She was 93 years of age.
She had professed faith in Christ and attended the Salem Baptist Church at the time of her death. She was a housewife, and loved being a mother and grandmother. She farmed alongside Doug and loved to cook for everyone and no one ever left hungry. She loved sewing and quilting, having made many beautiful quilts. She loved having her grandkids around.
She united in marriage to Melvin Douglas Martin on June 8, 1951, who preceded her in death on January 26, 2017.
She is survived by three children: Peggy Caulk, Steve Martin and Janet Martin McCubbin and husband Randy all of Campbellsville.
Six grandchildren: Kevin Caulk (DeAnna), Jason Caulk (Jennifer), Jeremy Caulk (Sherry), Jennifer Caulk, all of Campbellsville. Bradley Brockman (Melissa), and Travis Brockman both of North Carolina.
Eight Great-grandchildren: Kyle Caulk, Blake Caulk, Makenzi Caulk, Zach Caulk, Tatum Caulk, Devin Caulk, Anna Belle Brockman and Jaxon Brockman.
One Great-great granddaughter: Kylie Caulk.
One sister: Lola Jones (James) of Glasgow. Two sister-in-laws: Drusilla Allen and Naomi Paxton, and a host of nieces and nephews.
Besides her parents and her husband, Melvin Douglas Martin, She was preceded in death by six brothers and one sister: James Allen, Roy Allen, Clifton Allen, Horace Allen, Beldon Allen, Glen Allen and Margie Young.
There will be a funeral service for Reba Lee Martin on Friday August 4, 2023 at 1:00 P.M. at the L.R. Petty Funeral Home Chapel, 1765 New Columbia Rd. Campbellsville, with burial to follow in the Campbellsville Memorial Gardens. Bro. Michael Goodwin and Bro. Don Gowin will officiate.
The family requests visitation on Thursday August 3, 2023 from 5:00 P.M. – 8:00 P.M. at L.R. Petty Funeral Home.

Michelle Finn of Campbellsville, daughter of the late James Robert Mitchell and Wyona Benningfield Mitchell, was born January 14, 1965 in Taylor County, Kentucky. She died at 7:14 P.M., Sunday, July 30, 2023 in Campbellsville. Age: 58
She was saved by the blood of The Lamb and born again. Michelle was a member of New Journey Church with special ties to Elkhorn Baptist Church; her faith was strong and she loved the Lord.
She was branch manager at Citizens Bank and Trust Company.
Michelle was an old soul, who enjoyed watching Andy Griffith and I Love Lucy and even named all her beloved pets, past and present, after the characters: Lucy, Barney, Thelma Lou, Ellie, Daphne, Brisco and Opie. She kept an immaculate home and found great enjoyment in her flowers and going camping. Michelle loved her children and grandchildren and enjoyed cheering on her grandchildren at the ballpark.
She united in marriage to Eddie Finn May 13, 2000.
Besides her husband, Eddie Finn of Campbellsville who was the love of her life, Michelle is survived by two sons: Tyler Finn and wife, Jade of Campbellsville and Cody Finn of Campbellsville and his significant other, Jacinta Perkins of Hodgenville; four grandchildren: Tyson Finn, Ryce Finn, Cohen Finn and Elsie Mae Finn; her mother-in-law, Lillie Finn of Campbellsville; two sisters-in-law: Renay England and husband, Steve of Campbellsville and Melisa Clark and husband, Tom of Georgia; three nephews and many other relatives and friends.

Audrey Edwards, of Campbellsville, the daughter of the late Andy Marcum and Mary Lizzie (Nelson) Marcum Marr, was born June 7, 1941 in the Pleasant Valley Community of Green County and departed this life on Thursday, July 27, 2023 at the Campbellsville Nursing and Rehab. She was 82 years of age.
She enjoyed watching her favorite TV shows and Wheel of Fortune and playing bingo at the nursing home.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by an infant son: Mark Wayne Marcum; a brother: David Marcum.
Survivors include two sons: Owen “Ricky” Marcum and his fiancé: Debra Baker of Campbellsville and Danny Wayne Marcum of Lebanon; three grandchildren: Mark Marcum and wife Summer, Chelsea Milby and husband Blake all of Campbellsville and Jacob Marcum of Lebanon; six great-grandchildren: Marley Skinner, Nova Milby, Armani Milby, Avery Marcum, Lizzie Marcum and Hallie Marcum.
Also a sister: Elizabeth Ann Schladant and husband Paul of Indiana and a host of other relatives and friends.
A graveside service for Audrey Edwards will be Sunday at 2:00 P.M. at the Brookside Cemetery with burial to follow.

Diane Salyers, of Mannsville, the daughter of the late Cecil and Edith (Davis) Salyers, was born August 11, 1955 in Casey County, KY and departed this life on Thursday, July 27, 2023 in Danville at the Ephraim McDowell Hospital. She was 67 years of age.
She was of the Christian Faith. She enjoyed yardwork, being outdoors, gardening, antique hunting and spending time with her family.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by two sisters and two brothers: Debbie Salsbury, Vicky Byrd, Cecil David ‘Smiley” Salyers and Daril Salyers.
Survivors include a son: George Green and wife Beth of Mannsville; a daughter: Michelle Ward and husband Scott of Tennessee.
Also three brothers: Ricky Salyers and wife Brenda, Timmy Salyers and Jerome Salyers and wife Kim all of Liberty; five grandchildren: Logan Russell, Eli Propes, Joshua Kidd, Nicole Ward and Justin Reynolds; two great-grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.
A private service will be conducted on Saturday at the L.R. Petty Funeral Home Acton-Mannsville Chapel.

Betty Raye Moss of Campbellsville, daughter of the late Joseph Lester Crabtree and Ida Ethel Fawcett Crabtree, was born June 1, 1931 in Jefferson County, Kentucky. She died at 6:45 A.M., Wednesday, July 26, 2023 in Campbellsville. Age: 92
She professed faith in Christ and was a member of Campbellsville Baptist Church where she sang in the Young at Heart Choir and had served over seventy years as a Sunday School teacher.
She was a retired deputy clerk with the Taylor Circuit Clerk’s office after many years of service. Betty was a loving mother and grandmother who enjoyed traveling and stayed very active. She was a terrific cook and was most famous for her butterscotch pies.
Betty Raye united in marriage to Hugh Garrett Moss December 27, 1951 and he preceded her in death July 1, 2015.
Betty Raye is survived by two daughters: Dana Petitt-Janes and husband, Terry of Bardstown and Cami Caldwell and husband, Todd of Highlands Ranch, Colorado; eight grandchildren: Reagan Petitt, Kennedy Petitt, Emily Hope Caldwell, Sarah Caldwell, Heath Caldwell, John Caldwell, Luke Caldwell and Samuel Caldwell; three great-grandchildren: Harper Grace Petitt, Rowan Metcalf and Conner Metcalf and several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends.
She was also preceded in death by a sister, Nadine Crabtree.

Lula Mae Bell passed away at 8:20 A.M., Tuesday, July 25, 2023 in Campbellsville. Born on October 16, 1925, she was 97 years old.
She united in marriage to Raymond Bell on April 29, 1944.
She professed faith in Christ and was a member of South Campbellsville Baptist Church then attended Yuma Baptist Church with her son when she became unable to drive.
She is survived by one son, Larry Kent Bell, and his wife, Ellen and three grandchildren: Laura McWilliams of Lancaster, Ky., Aaron Marples of Campbellsville, Ky. and Joanne Jansen of Louisville, Ky.; three great-grandchildren: Emily Mach and Sophia McWilliams of Lancaster, Ky., and Genevieve McWilliams of Texas. She is survived by one brother, Billy Rainwater (Bernice) and one sister, Barbara Skaggs (Donald). She also leaves behind two dear friends, Kay DeMurray and Shirley Murphy.
Lula Mae was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond, who passed away on June 29, 2009 and by her parents, Ras and Lillian Ford Rainwater; also four brothers – Ernest, J.D., Gordon and Kenneth Rainwater, and three sisters – Madeline Cave, Helen Sharpe, and Rosaline Sprowles.
