Charles Ray Merritt of Old Lebanon Road, Campbellsville, son of the late Edwin C. Merritt and Janie Catherine Herron Merritt Ferren was born June 24, 1940 in Taylor County, Kentucky. He died at 11:15 A.M., Friday, August 25, 2006 in Campbellsville. Age: 66 He professed faith in Christ and was a member of the First United Methodist Church. He was a farmer and retired service station owner. He united in marriage to Mary Martha Spears November 26, 1959. Besides his wife, Mary Martha Merritt of Campbellsville, he is survived by one daughter, Meridith Dawn Merritt of Campbellsville; two grandchildren: Nathaniel Merritt and James Douglass Hare of Campbellsville; one brother and sister-in-law, Bobby and Wanda Merritt; many other relatives and friends. Elwood Ingram, age 69, of Campbellsville died Monday, August 21, 2006 at Medco Nursing Home after an illness. He was preceded in death by his parents, Cecil and Louise Bridgewater Ingram. He is survived by one son, Terry Ingram, one daughter and her companion, Sandra Ingram and DeWayne all of Louisville, one brother and sister-in-law, Otha and Dorothy Ingram, two sisters and brother-in-law, Shirley and Eugene McKay, Mary Atkinson all of Campbellsville.
