Nora Sprowles of Woodruff Avenue, Louisville, formerly of Campbellsville, daughter of the late Wesley Sherman Shofner and Lillie Hedgespeth Shofner was born November 20, 1928 in Taylor County, Kentucky. She died at 5:00 A.M., Friday, May 20, 2005 in Louisville. Age: 76 She professed faith in Christ and was a member of the Zion Separate Baptist Church.She united in marriage to Elmer Odell Sprowles September 30, 1948. He preceded her in death April 14, 1984. She is survived by one son and one daughter: Ronald Dale Sprowles Sr. and Phyllis Mae Shanks of Louisville; five grandchildren: Danielle Sprowles, Clarence Shanks Jr., Robert Dale Shanks and Ronald Dale Sprowles Jr. of Louisville and James Shanks of Bardstown; one brother, Thomas Shofner and his wife, Hazel and one sister, Lucy Skaggs of Campbellsville; several nieces and nephews, many other relatives and friends. Calvin Keltner of Roberts Road, Campbellsville, son of the late William Edgar Keltner and Maggie Lee Beard Keltner was born December 3, 1914 in Adair County, Kentucky. He died at 10:15 A. M., Friday, May 13, 2005 in Campbellsville. Age: 90 He professed faith in Christ and was a member of the Liberty Cumberland Presbyterian Church. He was a retired farmer.He was a veteran of World War II having served his country honorably in the United States Army. He united in marriage to Bernice Dabney January 1, 1949. She preceded him in death August 25, 2002. He is survived by nieces and nephews: Bobby Joe Keltner, Debbie Furkin Miller, Carolyn Smith Benningfield and Clyde Randal Keltner all of Campbellsville; many other relatives and friends. He was also preceded in death by one son, Donald Keith Keltner, January 17, 1950; two brothers and three sisters: Clyde Keltner, Clenon Moore Keltner, Cleo Keltner Smith, Clarice Keltner Tharp and Kathryn Keltner Furkin. James Coakley King of Osage Avenue, Campbellsville, son of the late James King and Candace Chappel King was born November 10, 1919 in Taylor County, Kentucky. He died at 1:40 P.M., Sunday, May 8, 2005 in Campbellsville. Age: 85 He professed faith in Christ and attended the Campbellsville First Church of God. He was a retired farmer and carpenter.He was a veteran of World War II having served his country honorably in the United States Army. He united in marriage to Mary Frances Bright September 21, 1940. Besides his wife Mary Frances King of Campbellsville, he is survived by two sons: Barry King and his wife Nancy of Campbellsville, Phillip King of Sarasota, Florida; a special friend, Dennis Stover; an adopted daughter, Geneva Rae Bright of Campbellsville; two grandchildren and their spouses: Rebecca and Jim Wathen and James and Melinda King of Campbellsville; four great-grandchildren: Brittany King, Ian King, Seth King and Micah King of Campbellsville; several nieces and nephews; many other relatives and friends. Mary Victoria Fudge Tutt of Locust Grove, Virginia, formerly of Campbellsville, daughter of the late Rev. M. L. Fudge and Helen Winfrey Hurt Fudge was born June 5, 1913 in Cumberland County, Kentucky. She died at 10:10 P.M. Thursday, April 14, 2005 in Virginia. Age: 91 She professed faith in Christ and was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Campbellsville where she taught Sunday School for several years. She was an educator for some 32 years and retired from the Campbellsville Board of Education. She united in marriage to James Garnett Tutt November 24, 1938. He preceded her in death August 21, 1997. She is survived by one son and daughter-in-law, James E. and Marsha Tutt of Locust Grove, Virginia; one granddaughter: Allison L. White of Henderson, Kentucky; one great-granddaughter, Natalie Grace-Zihui White of Henderson, Kentucky; three sisters: Mildred Schraer of Cincinnati, Ohio, Jane R.
