Irene Antle of Beechwood Road, Campbellsville, daughter of the late John Gilpin and Ermine Wilson Gilpin, was born in Taylor County, Kentucky, April 14, 1906. She died at 8:45 P.M., Saturday, March 20, 2004, in Campbellsville. Age: 97 She professed faith in Christ and was a member of the Salem Baptist Church.She united in marriage to Arthur E. Antle February 22, 1934. He preceded her in death February 2, 1988. She is survived by two brothers-in-law and five sisters-in-law: Veachel and Emilie Antle, Zillah VanCleave, and Lida Antle of Campbellsville, Louise Gilpin of Spencer, North Carolina, and Arvina Taylor and Evans Fowler of Louisville; several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by three sisters and four brothers: Daisy Ferguson, Millie Read, Lillie Alexander, Clinton Gilpin, Wilbur Gilpin, Harry Gilpin, and Stanley Lee Gilpin.
