Miss Lora Robertson of West Blue Hole Road, Campbellsville, daughter of the late James L. Robertson and Mary Ware Robertson was born in Taylor County, Kentucky April 4, 1916. She died at 5:35 A.M. Friday,September 5, 2003 in Elizabethtown. Age: 87 She professed faith in Christ and was a member of Bethel First Presbyterian Church. She was a retired secretary and bookkeeper. She is survived by one nephew, James H. Scott and his wife Janet of Ekron, Kentucky; two great-nephews: Travis Scott of Ekron, Kentucky and Greg Scott of Bowling Green, Kentucky; several other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by one sister and two brothers: Ollie Scott, James Robertson and Ernest Robertson.FUNERAL SERVICES: 2:00 P.M. Christine Goff Cain of North Columbia Avenue, Campbellsville, daughter of the late James H. Goff and Virginia Hunn Goff, was born in Adair County, Kentucky, April 21, 1920. She died at 11:00 A.M., Thursday, August 28, 2003, in Louisville. Age: 83 She professed faith in Christ early in life and was a member of the Bethel First Presbyterian Church. She was the former office manager for E. D. Cain Realty Company. She united in marriage to Earl D. Cain August 25, 1943. He preceded her in death January 23, 1993.She is survived by her daughter, Virginia Cain Walker of Georgetown, Kentucky; two granddaughters and their spouses: Beth Walker Cox and her husband, Shawn of Great Falls, Virginia, and Alice Walker Farley and her husband, Kevin of Georgetown; four great-grandchildren: Anna Catherine Cox, Matthew Phillip Cox, Caroline Elizabeth Farley and Logan Weslee Farley; two sisters and one brother: Kathryn B. Goff and Elna G. Newton of Campbellsville, and Lynwood Goff and his wife, Betty of Louisville; several nieces and nephews, many other relatives and friends.She was preceded in death by one sister, Frances Goff Lewis and one brother, James Anthony Goff. Tommy Newton of Yates Road, Campbellsville, son of the late Vonley Jack Newton and Katie Brown Newton, was born July 27, 1945, in Dallas, Texas. He died at 11:30 A.M., Monday, September 1, 2003, in Campbellsville. Age: 58.He professed faith in Christ and was a member of Pitman Valley Baptist Church. He was an oil worker. He united in marriage to Norma Fay Yates August 18, 1995. Besides his wife, Norma Fay Newton of Yates Road, Campbellsville, he is survived by two children, Edward Newton of Texas and Michelle Fisher and her husband, Todd of Greensburg; two grandchildren, Madison and Kara Fisher of Greensburg and many other relatives and friends. Milby, age 78, of Meader Street, Campbellsville,died Saturday, August 30, 2003, at the Metzmeir Nursing Home after an illness.She was the daughter of the late Elmer White and Ruth Greer White of Taylor County. She was a member of the St. Marks United Methodist Church where she was a Sunday School teacher for many years and she was past chairperson of the Board at CampActon. She was preceded in death by her step-son Edgar Milby, Jr.Mrs. Milby, is survived by her husband Edgar Milby, Sr. and one daughter and son-in-law, Myrna and Marvin Martin of Campbellsville. Eight grandchildren also survive alongwith twenty two great grandchildren, and seven great-great grandchildren. Several other relatives also survive along with a host of friends.Funeral services for Mrs. Emilene M. Milby were conducted at 11:00 A.M. She was a member of the Campbellsville Christian Church and a retired hairdresser.She was preceded in death by her husband, George Floyd Sapp, and four sisters, Rosa, Fannie and Cecil Knifley and Bettie Riggin.Mrs. Sapp is survived by two daughters, Janet Jacobs of Dayton, Ohio and Judi Bliss-Love of Arizona. Lawrence E. Elsbury of Southside Avenue, Campbellsville, son of the late Daniel Elsbury and Joann Noel Elsbury was born December 8, 1914, in Marseilles, Illinois. He died at 9:10 A.M., Tuesday, August 19, 2003, in Campbellsville.Age: 88 He had professed faith in Christ and was a member of the St. Luke Episcopal Church. He was a retired cement mason.He was united in marriage to Alice Butterworth who preceded him in death February 15, 1993. He united in marriage to Beatrice Gill Wise December 10, 1993. Besides his wife, Beatrice Wise Elsbury of Southside Avenue, Campbellsville, he is survived by four children and their spouses: Joann and Larry Ewing of Dry Ridge, Kentucky, Joann E. and Mike Casserly of North Carolina, Lawrence Daniel and Barb Elsbury of Kalamazoo, Michigan, Jim Elsbury of Chicago, Illinois; two step-children and their spouses: Sherry and Paul Shively and Roger and Linda Wise of Campbellsville; eleven grandchildren; twelve step-grandchildren; twenty-two great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews and special friends: Mr. Mrs. David White and Mr. Mrs. Titus Jessie.
