James W. Allen of Eastridge Cemetery Road, Casey Creek, Kentucky, son of the late J. W. Allen and Nannie White Allen was born November 2, 1926 in Barren County, Kentucky. He died at 10:44 P.M. Monday, January 26, 2004, in Campbellsville. Age: 77 He professed faith in Christ and was of the Methodist faith. He retired from General Electric Company in Louisville, Kentucky. He was a veteran of World War II having served his country honorably in the United States Army. He is survived by two children: Jane Levesque of Springfield, Illinois and Edward Lee Allen of Casey Creek, Kentucky; four grandchildren: Tommy Levesque of Casey Creek, Kentucky, Susan Wise and Kathy Davis of Campbellsville, Kentucky and Sharon Hutchins of Hodgenville, Kentucky; five great-grandchildren: Kristen Wheatley, Seth Hogan Wise, Zachary Isaac Wise of Campbellsville, Kentucky, Allison Elizabeth Hutchins and Andrew Hutchins of Hodgenville, Kentucky; one brother and two sisters: Dr. Damon E. Allen and wife, Shirley, Clara Lee Rafferty and husband Pete, and Mabel Smith all of Campbellsville; several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends. She died at 7:38 A.M., Tuesday, January 27, 2004, in Campbellsville. Age: 94 She was a member of St. Bernard Catholic Church.She united in marriage to Edgar Maurice Wethington, November, 1935. He preceded her in death March 29, 1980. Mary Imogene Gabehart of Flat Rock, Michigan, formerly of Campbellsville, daughter of the late Robert Vaughan and Jane Lyons Vaughan was born July 5, 1910 in Taylor County, Kentucky. She died Sunday, January 25, 2004 in Michigan. Age: 93 She professed faith in Christ and was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Flat Rock, Michigan since 1946. She retired in 1975as a teacher from Flat Rock Public School System. She united in marriage to Ira Homer Gabehart, December 17, 1937. He preceded her in death November 20, 1981.She is survived by one son and one daughter: Herbert Gabehart and wife, Elizabeth of Ida, Michigan and Donna Burk and husband, Robert of Lake of the Ozark, Missouri; three grandchildren: William Gabehart of New Jersey, Meg Gabehart of North Carolina and Wendy Roberts and husband Will of Saline, Michigan; two great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends. She was also preceded in death by one son, Eugene Gabehart in 1972; one grandson, Paul Robert Burk in 1999; one brother and one sister: Robert Vaughan and Pearl Murrah. She has went on to be with the lord. She lived in Indianapolis, Indiana for thirty five years before returning to Kentucky. She was a very caring wife and mother, she was also ahomemaker and her hobbies included, Quilting, baking and listening to gospel and bluegrass music. Shewas very active with her church at Central Baptist and doing things for other people.She is survived by her husband, Norman Matherly, mother, Clara Cochran, children, Roy and KenRigney both of Indiana, Jerry Rigney of Frankfort, James Rigney of Elizabethtown, Patrica Ruley ofRatcliffe and Patti Covey of Moses Lake, Washington, two brothers and one sister, James and WalterCochran both of Lebanon, Carol Noran of California, sixteen grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildrenalso survive along with other relatives and a host of friends.Funeral services for Mrs. Norma Rae Matherly will be held at 11:00 A.M.
