#65279;Ruby Lee SkaggsMrs. Ruby Lee Skaggs, age 88, of Sanders Road, Campbellsville, died Tuesday,January 20, 2004 at Metzmier Nursing Home after an illness.She was the daughter of the late, Charlies and Violet Cox Sanders of Taylor County. She was a retired housewife and a member of the Saloma Baptist Church. She was also precededin death by her husband Edgar Skaggs, one brother Durham Sanders.She is survived by two sons and one daughter, Elliott Skaggs, of Greenville, Ky. Wilson Skaggs and Judy Wurmser of Campbellsville, seven grandchildren, fourteen great-grandchildren, five great-great grandchildren, one sister-in-law, Mildred Sanders, three nephews and two nieces also survives along with a host of friends.Funeral services for Mrs. Ruby Lee Skaggs were conducted at 1:00 PM, Thursday,January 22, 2004 at the Lyon DeWitt Funeral Home Chapel with burial in CampbellsvilleMemorial Gardens.Rev. Don Houk of Bell Avenue, Campbellsville, son of the late Charles Edward Houk and Martha Bea Thompson Houk was born March 26, 1932, in Green County, Kentucky. He died at 12:15 P.M., Sunday, January 11, 2004 in Campbellsville. Age: 71 He professed faith in Christ and was a member of the Southside Christian Church. He was retired from Western Kentucky Gas Company. Floyd T. Hensley, Jr. of Old Lebanon Road, Campbellsville, son of the late Floyd T. Hensley, Sr. and Grace Dilley Hensley was born May 22, 1925, in Hart County, Kentucky. He died at 12:43 P.M., Monday, January 12, 2004 in Campbellsville. Age: 78 He professed faith in Christ and was a member of Liberty Cumberland Presbyterian Church where he served as Elder and Sunday School Teacher. He was Moderator of the General Assembly of the Cumberland Presbyterian Church from June 1991 to June 1992. He was a former Executive Vice President and Chairman of the Board of Taylor County Bank. He was a fifty year member of the Rio Verde Masonic Lodge #698 F A.M. in Canmer, Kentucky, fifty year member of the Campbellsville Lions Club and Charter Member of Taylor Regional Hospital Board of Directors. He previously served as Trustee of Bethel College, and was a member of the Denominational Board of Finance. He was a former Agricultural teacher for Taylor County High School. He was a member of the Soil Conservation Board and active in fund raising for the Boy Scouts of America. He was a veteran of World War II having served his country honorably in the United States Army. He united in marriage to Alta Adams September 10, 1947. Besides his wife, Alta Hensley of Old Lebanon Road, Campbellsville, he is survived by one brother and two sisters: Eldon Hensley and wife Gloria of Horse Cave, Kentucky, Rowena Hines and husband Roy of Nashville, Tennessee, and Grace Counts and husband Bob of Englewood, Florida; several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends. He served his country honorably in the United States Air Force. He retired from the United States Air Force and Fruit of the Loom in Campbellsville. He united in marriage to Sarah Stansell who preceded him in death October, 1984. He united in marriage to Emma Lee Allen who preceded him in death June, 2003. He united in marriage to Mary Bell Curry, August 11, 2003, who survives.
