Marjorie Louis Richeson Wilson of Campbellsville, daughter of the late J.W. “Willie” Richeson and Nora Robinson Richeson, was born October 27, 1928, in Taylor County, Kentucky. She died at 9:42 P.M., Sunday, June 26, 2016, in Campbellsville, Kentucky. Age: 87.
She professed faith in Christ and was a member of the Early’s Chapel United Methodist Church where she served as church secretary and treasurer and Sunday school teacher and was an active member of the United Methodist Women. She was the Taylor County Farm Bureau Federation secretary and tax consultant for some 36 years; prior to that she was a tax consultant at H&R Block. She was an accomplished seamstress, and as a 4-H leader, she taught many young ladies to sew.
She united in marriage to Buford Wilson on December 4, 1948.
Besides her husband, Buford Wilson of Campbellsville, she is survived by one daughter and son-in-law, Jackie and Paul Akridge of Campbellsville; three granddaughters: Mariah Akridge of California, Sarah Jefferson of Georgia and Mary Jefferson of Texas; special friend and caregiver, Dellen Shabazz; several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by one sister, Carrie Matherly, August 24, 2010.

Edwin Blevins of Campbellsville, son of the late Ira Blevins and Lillie Richerson Blevins, was born January 23, 1924, in Taylor County, Kentucky. He died at 1:30 P.M., Sunday, June 26, 2016 in Campbellsville. Age: 92
He professed faith in Christ and was a member of Good Hope Baptist Church.
He was a retired farmer and was former owner and operator of B & B Landscaping.
He united in marriage to Nell Colvin November 17, 1942.
Besides his wife, Nell C. Blevins of Campbellsville, he is survived by one son and daughter-in-law, Gil and Laurel Blevins of Campbellsville; two grandchildren: Sherri Hudson and husband, Ashley of Glasgow and Jeff Blevins and fiancée, Noel Theobald of Columbus, Ohio; four grandchildren: Aidan Blevins, Natalie Hudson, Sarah Hudson and Claire Blevins; three step-grandchildren: Kelly Donahue, Trisha Gaier and Todd Hartman; five step-great-grandchildren: Rachel Tucker, Patrick Donahue, McCall Milby, Natalie Gaier and Lily Hartman; one brother, Bob Blevins and wife, Carolyn of Lexington; several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by three brothers and one sister, Ray Blevins, Carroll Blevins, Les Blevins, Elizabeth Rakes and a sister in infancy.

Sam Hayes of Campbellsville, son of the late Sammie Willie Hayes, Sr. and Mary Minnie Johnson Hayes Gaines, was born October 14, 1933, in Taylor County, Kentucky. He died at 5:39 P.M., Sunday, June 26, 2016 in Louisville. Age: 82
He professed faith in Christ and was a member of Liberty Cumberland Presbyterian Church.
He was a retired employee of Parker Kalon.
He served his country honorably in the United States Army.
Sam always raised a big garden and shared produce with friends and neighbors and was a big “Kentucky” fan.
He united in marriage to Lois Richerson May 28, 1955.
Besides his wife, Lois Hayes of Campbellsville, he is survived by two sons: Ronnie Wayne Hayes and Robbie Allen Hayes of Campbellsville; three grandchildren: Michael Hayes, Brian Hayes and Samantha Hayes of Campbellsville; two great-granddaughters: Raegan and Kenady; a former daughter-in-law, Debbie Hayes of Campbellsville; several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends.
He was also preceded in death by a sister, Wynemia Rogers.
