Ruby Alexander Hines, age 91 of Wickliffe Avenue, Campbellsville died Saturday at the Taylor Regional Hospital.
Ruby was born the daughter of Bud Allen and Ada Mae Rucker Blevins on September 12, 1925 in Green County, Kentucky. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Fred Allen Hines, a brother, Boyce Blevins, two sisters, Mae Gardner and Dorothy Brockman as well as a great grandson, Linken Alexander Close. She was of the Baptist faith and was a member of the Lowell Avenue Baptist Church at the time of her death.
She is survived by one son and daughter-in-law, William Douglas and Beate Hines of El Paso, Texas, three daughters and sons-in-law, Donna and Bill Knight of Belton, Kentucky, Brenda and Greg McNear, Sandy and Tim Cash all of Campbellsville and two daughters-in-law, Helen “Cookie” Jones of Louisville and Betty Bailey Bloyd of Campbellsville. Also surviving are fourteen grand-children, twenty-two great-grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren, and one sister and brother-in-law, Corinne and Bill Holcombe of Florida and one sister-in-law, Jo Ann Blevins of Campbellsville.
Funeral services for Mrs. Ruby Alexander Hines will be held at 1:00 PM Thursday, January 12, 2017, at the Lyon-DeWitt-Berry Funeral Home with burial in the Green River Memorial Cemetery.
The family request visitation from 5 to 8 PM Wednesday at Lyon-DeWitt-Berry Funeral Home.
Expressions of sympathy are requested to be in the form of donations to Gideon Bibles and can be made at the Funeral home.

Joe Bailey of Campbellsville, son of the late Daniel Bailey and Mallie Graham Bailey, was born July 14, 1937, in Taylor County, Kentucky. He died at 9:25 P.M., Sunday, January 8, 2017 in Campbellsville. Age: 79
He served his country honorably in the United States Navy. During his tenure Joe was awarded the Good Conduct Medal. After returning back to Campbellsville he became a member of the Pitman Masonic Lodge #124 F & AM and was also a member of the Kosair Shriners. Joe was a retired semi-truck driver and former Sergeant with the Campbellsville Police Department in the early 1960s.
He professed faith in Christ and was a member of Robinson Creek Baptist Church.
He united in marriage to Ina Hunt December 10, 1960.
Besides his wife, Ina Bailey of Campbellsville, he is survived by one son and daughter-in-law, Mitchell and Sandra Bailey of Campbellsville; three grandchildren: Brandon Bailey, Alex Bailey and Heather Bailey of Campbellsville; one sister, Imogene Gabbert of Campbellsville; one sister-in-law, Betty Bailey of Glasgow; several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends.
Joe was also preceded in death by a brother, David Bailey and a brother-in-law, Edgar Gabbert.

Mr. Michael Glynn “Mike” McMahan, the son of the late Ernest and Virginia Coakley McMahan, was born April 29, 1953 in Campbellsville and departed this life on Sunday, January 8, 2017 at his home. He was 63 years of age.
He was a former electrician and was a Veteran, having served in the United States Air Force. He enjoyed fishing and watching the University of Kentucky Wildcats Basketball.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister: Sharon.
Survivors include: two daughters: Karis McMahan and Lindsey McMahan both of Campbellsville; two brothers: Richard McMahan of Campbellsville and Steve McMahan and wife Nancy of Carrollton; a sister: Karen Eggert and husband Steve of Virginia; two grandchildren: Aidan McMahan and Dalton Reynolds and a host of other relatives and friends.
A private graveside service will be held in the Lebanon National Cemetery with full Military Rites by the Marion County Veterans Honor Guard.
There will be no visitation.
