blandsTommy Bland of Campbellsville, son of the late Hurshel Bland and Louise White Bland, was born in Taylor County, Kentucky, March 16, 1964. He died at 10:00 A.M., Monday, November 30, 2015 in Campbellsville. Age: 51
He professed faith in Christ and was a member of Raikes Hill Baptist Church.
Tommy was self employed as an automobile dealer.
He is survived by one daughter and son-in-law, Hannah and Weston Jones of Campbellsville; one grandson, Tate Jones of Campbellsville; one brother and two sisters: Jerry Bland and Joan Gabehart and husband, Jimmy of Campbellsville and Wanda Perkins of Lebanon; special friend, Lisa Burton of Campbellsville; several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends.
He was also preceded in death by one brother Carlos Bland.

VISITATION: 5-8 P.M., Wednesday, December 2, 2015 at Parrott & Ramsey Funeral Home.

Louise Wood, 74

Wood1Mrs. Louise (Hughes) Wood was born on March 12, 1941 to the late Glenn and Cassie (Herron) Hughes. She departed this life on November 30, 2015 at her home in Campbellsville at the age of 74 years, 8 months, and 18 days. Mrs. Wood was a former employee of the Campbellsville Laundry and Dry Cleaners, a job she held over 25 years. She professed faith in Christ and was a member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witness.

She leaves to cherish her memory:
Her husband of 55 years: Donnie Wood of Campbellsville,
Two children: Keith Wood and wife Beth of Lawrenceburg, and Shelia Wethington and husband John of Campbellsville,
Two siblings: Cozetta Sprowles and husband Olyn of Campbellsville, and Junior Lewis “Buddy” Hughes and wife Diane of Black Gnat,
Two grandchildren: Mason Wethington and Brenna Wethington, both of Campbellsville,
And a host of other family and friends.

Besides her parents, she was also preceded in death by a brother, Greg Hughes.

There will be a funeral service to honor the life of Mrs. Wood on Wednesday, December 2, 2015 at 1:00 PM EST in the chapel of the L.R. Petty Funeral Home, 1765 New Columbia Rd, Campbellsville, KY 42718. Elder Joe Schembari will be officiating. Interment will follow in the Campbellsville Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday, December 2, from 11:00 AM until time for the service.

Deloris Ann Merritt Vance of Campbellsville, daughter of the late Jesse Merritt and Marie McNear Merritt, was born in Taylor County, Kentucky, April 29, 1939. She died at 6:27 P.M., Monday, November 30, 2015 in Greensburg. Age: 76
She professed faith in Christ and attended the First Church of God.
She was a former employee of Fruit of the Loom in Campbellsville for many years and also Campbellsville Independent School System.
She united in marriage to Wendell Vance April 3, 1959. He preceded her in death October 19, 2002.
She is survived by one daughter, Melissa Rogers and fiancé, Tim Bell of Campbellsville; two grandsons: Cody Allen Smith and fiancée, Brandi McGuire and Matthew James Rogers of Campbellsville; one great-grandson, Sevastian Liam Smith of Campbellsville; two sisters: Marilyn Bell of Cecilia and Shirley Jenkins of Michigan; several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends.
She was also preceded in death by a son, Douglas Vance May 2, 2001.
