Jane E. Moore, age 80, of Campbellsville, died Tuesday, February 2, 2016 at her residence in Campbellsville.
She was born July 3, 1935 in Campbellsville and was preceded in death by her mother Emma Bault Osborne and a brother, Ray Osborne.
She retired from Fruit of the Loom with over 30 years of service. She was a member of Bethel First Presbyterian Church where she was active in the Woman’s Circle 34. Jane was also a former member of the Business and Professional Woman’s Club and served as an election volunteer.
She is survived by her daughters, Connie Stogner and her husband Lynn of North Carolina, Ann Nipple and her husband, Jon of Georgetown, Donna Wheatley and her husband, Kevin of Campbellsville and Barb Willis and her husband, Mike of Campbellsville, eight grandchildren, Billy (Karen) Parker, April (Chris) Myers, Jeremy (Whitney) Nipple, Kendra (Matt) Curtis, Brooke (Andrew) Rauch, Seth Wheatley, Michael (Crystal) Green and Morgan Willis; eight great-grandchildren, Emma Parker, Drew Parker, Collier Curtis, Tate Curtis, Kendall Curtis, Avery Nipple, Caden Nipple and Frankie Green; a brother, Donnie Osborne and his wife, Viola; sisters, Jessie Lee and her husband, Jimmie and Kay Hudgins, all of Campbellsville, a sister-in-law, Ruby Osborne of Louisville and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Thursday, February 4, 2016 at Bethel First Presbyterian Church with burial to follow in Bethel Presbyterian Church Cemetery.
The family requests visitation from 5 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 3rd at the Lyon-DeWitt-Berry Funeral Home.

Mr. Clifford I. Carnes of Campbellsville was born on Tuesday, February 14, 1928, in Russell County to the late Stanley and Lona (Holt) Carnes. He left this life to rejoice with the angels on Wednesday, January 27, 2016 at the Grandview Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Campbellsville. Mr. Carnes was 87 years, 11 months, and 13 days of age. As a young man, he earned a living as a carpenter and in machinery work, but his earthly passion was being a family man. He had a very close and special bond with all of his grandchildren. Outside of his family, his greatest love was his church. Early in life, he professed faith in Christ, and was a member of the God’s Grace Church in Campbellsville. Mr. Carnes united in marriage to Mrs. Betty M. (Bryant) Carnes, who preceded him in death in 1997. Later, he united in marriage to Mrs. Vernice Faye (Mouser) Carnes, who survives.
Mr. Carnes leaves to carry his legacy:
His wife: Mrs. Vernice Carnes of Campbellsville,
Three sons: Dennis Carnes and wife Viola of Indianapolis, Indiana, Robert Carnes and wife Patty of Buchanan, Michigan, and Clifford Larry Carnes and wife Mamie of Greensburg,
One daughter: Robin Burton and husband Gary of Campbellsville,
Three step-children: Larry Akin and wife Delora, Thomas Sprowles, and Genia Sherrill, all of Campbellsville,
One daughter-in-law: Joanne Carnes of Edinburgh, Indiana,
Sixteen grandchildren,
Sixteen great grandchildren,
Seven great-great grandchildren,
And a host of other family and friends.
He was also preceded in death by three children, Ronald D. Carnes, Darlene Decker, and Gary Carnes (infant), and six siblings, Hollis, Rupert, Edmond, Isabelle, Dimple, and Jeanette.
There will be a funeral service to honor the life of Mr. Carnes on Saturday, January 30, 2016 at 1:00 PM EST (12:00 PM CST) in the chapel of the L.R. Petty Funeral Home, 1765 New Columbia Rd, Campbellsville, KY 42718. Bro. Billy Adams and Bro. Fred Miller will be officiating.
Interment will follow in the Bearwallow Cemetery, 6080 Liberty Rd, Columbia, KY 42728. Mr. Carnes will be carried to his final resting place by Darin Carnes, Derrick Carnes, Davin Greenlee, Robert Lewis Carnes, Jr., David Mouser, and James Robert Meadows.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday, January 29, from 5:00-8:00 PM EST (4:00-7:00 PM CST).

Rex Brown of Campbellsville, son of the late Cecil Brown and Carrie Judd Brown, was born March 13, 1928, in Green County. He died at 11:59 A.M., Monday, January 25, 2016 in Campbellsville. Age: 87
He professed faith in Christ and was a member of Saloma Baptist Church.
He served his country honorably in the United States Army and the United States Navy.
Rex was a member of Pitman Masonic Lodge 124 F & AM and a retired employee of Ford Motor Company. He had a love for the outdoors and enjoyed fishing and hunting.
He united in marriage to Patsy Dudgeon, who preceded him in death December 1, 2011.
He is survived by one son and three daughters: Cecil Brown and wife, Donna, Diana Sallee and husband, Doug and Donna Johnson and husband, Mark of Louisville and Deborah Perry and husband, Bill of Carlsbad, California; one step-son and two step-daughters: Tom Milby and wife, Phyllis, Jan Milby and Mary McVay and husband, Randy of Campbellsville; sixteen grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; one sister, Aileen Morrisett of Louisville; one sister-in-law, Louise Brown, of Louisville; special friend, Preston Pyles of Campbellsville; several nieces and nephews many other relatives and friends.
He was also preceded in death by a step-daughter, Betty Cole February 13, 2013 and one brother, James Brown.
