Mark Read of Glasgow, formerly of Campbellsville, son of the late Kenneth Read and Joan Moss, was born July 14, 1960, in Taylor County, Kentucky. He died at 3:49 P.M., Wednesday, August 3, 2016 in Bowling Green. Age: 56
He professed faith in Christ at an early age and was a member of Immanuel Baptist Church of Glasgow. He was later baptized along with his son, Brandon on July 4, 2004.
He was an employee of Fruit of the Loom in Bowling Green.
He is survived by one son, Brandon Read of Glasgow; one sister and brother-in-law, Kym and Mike Stein of Campbellsville; two nephews, Eric Stein of Campbellsville and Jon Stein of Louisville and many other relatives and friends.

Mrs. Willie Lee Truelock of Campbellsville, daughter of the late Ira Braneff and Gracie May Coleman Braneff, was born September 18, 1924, in Newton County, Texas. She died at 2:15 A.M., Tuesday, August 2, 2016 in Campbellsville. Age: 91
She professed faith in Christ and was a member of the Campbellsville Baptist Church.
She was a retired office and retail sales employee.
She united in marriage to Willie Creed Truelock October 17, 1942. He preceded her in death March 29, 1994.
She is survived by one daughter and son-in-law, Sherry and Neil Moseley of Campbellsville; four grandchildren: Tara Turner Fogle and husband, David of Georgetown, Jarod Moseley and wife, Tracy of Burlington, Jason Moseley and wife, Michelle of Lexington and Craig Moseley and wife, Danett of Walton; ten great-grandchildren: Joshua Fogle and wife,

Gunnery Sergeant William R. “Bill” Smith of Campbellsville was born on April 10, 1954 to the late E.J. and Barbara (Ferguson) Smith in Orange, Texas. He departed this life Thursday, July 28, 2016 at the Taylor Regional Hospital after a battle with cancer. He was 62 years, 3 months, and 18 days of age. GySgt Smith retired from active duty in the United States Marine Corps after 14 years of service. He was the proud husband of Mrs. Gay (Cottrell) Smith, who survives. He professed faith in Christ and was of the Baptist faith. He enjoyed hard work, and found relaxation outdoors by raising flowers and a garden, reading, and hunting and fishing.
He leaves to carry his legacy:
His wife: Gay Smith
Two sons: William Smith and companion Chelsey of Lexington, and Donnie Hartsock of Louisiana,
Two siblings: Debbie and E.J., both of Texas,
Four grandchildren,
Special family friends: Stacey, Tracie, Tammy, and Suzanne,
And a host of other family and close friends.
He was also preceded in death by two siblings, Stevie and Bonnie.
There will be a funeral service to honor the life of GySgt. Smith on Monday, August 1, 2016 at 10:00 AM in the chapel of the L.R. Petty Funeral Home and Cremation Service, 1765 New Columbia Rd, Campbellsville, KY 42718.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday, July 31, from 5:00-8:00 PM EST.
There will be an interment service on Thursday, August 4, at 11:00 AM EST at the Lebanon National Cemetery, 20 Highway 208, Lebanon, KY 40033. Full military Honors.
