Wilda “Joey” Arnett

Wilda Joyce “Joey” Arnett of Elkhorn, daughter of the late Fonzie Farmer and Bonnie Gabehart Farmer was born in Louisville, Kentucky, March 1, 1940.
She died February 20, 2015, in Taylor County. Age: 74
She was a former employee of Brown & Williamson Tobacco Company and UPS.
She is survived by a brother and sister: Doug Farmer and wife, Jo of Campbellsville and Brenda Denney and husband, James of Louisville; six nieces and nephews: Jacki Denney and special friend, Jimmy Davis, Jimmy and Renae Denney, Amanda and Robbie Settles, Kyle Farmer and Krissy, Todd Farmer and Julie and Kent Farmer; several great nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by a son, Gregory Scott Arnett, September 19, 2002.

Dennis Holmes, age 50, of Elizabethtown, formerly of Campbellsville, died Tuesday, February 17, 2015 in Louisville.
He is survived by his brothers Donald Holmes and his wife, Julie of Edmonton, David Holmes and his wife, Faye, and Daniel Holmes of Campbellsville.
Funeral service will be conducted at 12 noon Tuesday, February 24th at Lyon-DeWitt-Berry Funeral Home in Campbellsville with Bro. Charles Holmes officiating.
The family request visitation Tuesday prior to the funeral from 9 am until noon. Private burial will follow at Jesus Name Church Cemetery.

Doris Huff, age 83

Doris Huff, age 83 of Campbellsville died Friday, February 20, 2015 in Campbellsville.

Doris was born June 5, 1931 in Taylor County, to the late Richard and Sylvia Livesay Sallee.  She was also preceded in death by her husband, Henry “Brownie” Huff.

She was a member of Hogard’s Chapel United Methodist Church where she was active with the United Methodist Women.

She is survived by her daughter Vanessa Huff-Guyton and her husband Joe, two grandchildren, Cory Myers and Kathryn Guyton and her sisters, Willine Bowman and Nadine Milsap, all of Campbellsville.

Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. Monday, February 23rd at Lyon-DeWitt-Berry Funeral Home with burial at Campbellsville Memorial Gardens.

The family request visitation from 5 to 8 p.m. Sunday, February 22nd at Lyon-DeWitt-Berry Funeral Home.

Memorial contributions are suggested to Hogard’s Chapel United Methodist Church.
