Hilda Cox of Campbellsville, daughter of the late Ben Osborne and Minnie Osborne, was born July 31, 1937, in Taylor County, Kentucky.
She died at 4:15 P.M., Monday, January 19, 2015, in Burkesville. Age: 77
She professed faith in Christ and was a member of South Campbellsville
Baptist Church.
She was a retired nursing assistant.
She united in marriage to George Cox, who preceded her in death.
She is survived by two sons and one daughter: Terry Sharp and Susie Clark and husband, Timmy of Campbellsville and Randy Sharp and wife, Tammy of Lexington; two grandchildren: Dennis Clark and Melanie Clark of Campbellsville; three great-grandchildren: Maddox Clark, Kadence Clark and Jadah Deering; one brother and one sister: Wesley Osborne of Greensburg and Martha Helen Osborne of Bardstown; several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends.

David T. Martin of Campbellsville, son of the late Ray Thomas Martin and Gennie Ann DeWitt Martin, was born September 22, 1926, in Taylor County, Kentucky. He died at 7:40 P.M., Saturday, January 17, 2015 in Campbellsville. Age: 88
He professed faith in Christ and was a member of Mt. Carmel Baptist Church.
He was a retired employee of Fruit of the Loom in Campbellsville.
He united in marriage to Zelma Mae Miller October 19, 1945. She preceded him in death April 8, 2012.
He is survived by one daughter, Barbara Hines Holbrook of Chattanooga, Tennessee; one great-grandson, Christopher Tyler Joyce of Lebanon, Ohio; two nephews: Lee Allen and wife, Jennie and Raymond Allen and wife, Jessie of Campbellsville; one sister-in-law, Ivagene DeWitt of Campbellsville; and many other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by a son-in-law, Donald Holbrook June 30, 2012; a granddaughter, Annette Renee Hines Joyce March 2, 2007 and two sisters: Lucille Allen July 3, 2014 and Stella Martin in infancy February 29, 1924.

Eugene Curtis Armstrong, 93

Veteran AppreciationMr. Eugene Curtis Armstrong, the son of the late Edward and Nellie Manlove Armstrong, was born July 1, 1921 in New Castle County Delaware and departed this life on Sunday January 18, 2015 in Mt. Sherman, (Green County) at his home. He was 93 years of age.

He united in marriage to Laura Jean Liadecker, who preceded him in death. He was a United States Veteran, having served in World War II. He was a retired Teamster and was of the Presbyterian faith.

Survivors include four sons: Dale Armstrong and wife Marian and Eugene “Fuzzy” Armstrong, Jr, both of Wyoming, David Armstrong of Maryland and Dean Armstrong and wife Penny of Delaware.

Two daughters: Linda Naudain spouse Fred Chapman of Mt. Sherman, Betty Wyrick and husband Don of Delaware.

A sister: Nellie Foltz of Delaware.

20 Grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends survive.

He was preceded in death by five siblings: Gordon Armstrong, Ed Armstrong, Joe Armstrong, Harry Armstrong and Bess Armstrong.

Memorial services for Mr. Eugene Curtis Armstrong will be private.

Memorials are suggested to the Armstrong Tract Wildlife Sanctuary on Vance Neck Road in Delaware, which can be made at the funeral home.
