Odell Sublett, age 90, of Campbellsville died Monday, March 2, 2015 at Campbellsville Retirement Home.
She was born May 11, 1924 to the late Robert Bert and Magdaline Paxton Sublett in Taylor County. She had worked for local drugstores and restaurants and was a member of Good Hope Cumberland Presbyterian Church.
She is survived by her brother, Leonard Sublett of Campbellsville, her sisters, Betty Holt of Indianapolis and Elaine Sublett of Campbellsville; sisters-in-law, Corrine Sublett and Peggy Sublett and several nieces and nephews.
Besides her parents she was preceded in death by a brother Robert Henry Sublett, her sisters, Arlene Munday Williams and Gwen Lee Sublet and a sister-in-law, Martha Lee Sublett.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, March 7th at Lyon-DeWitt-Berry Funeral Home with Bro. Earl West officiating. Burial will follow at Good Hope Cumberland Presbyterian Church Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers will be Eddie Rogers, Mike Munday, Eddie Munday, Tim Munday, Adam Sublett, Neil Sublett, Jeff Holt and Steve Cry.
The family requests visitation Saturday prior to the funeral from noon to 2:00 p.m. at Lyon-DeWitt-Berry Funeral Home.
Memorial contributions are suggested to the Good Hope Cumberland Presbyterian Church Cemetery fund and may be made at Lyon-DeWitt-Berry Funeral Home.

Thomas Clark, of Campbellsville, son of the late Elbert “Buddy” Clark and Sadie Oakes Clark was born September 24, 1942 in Taylor County, Kentucky. He died at 2:38 P.M., Saturday, February 28, 2015 in Campbellsville. Age: 72
He professed faith in Christ and was a member of Poplar Grove United Methodist Church.
He was a former employee of Fruit of the Loom and a construction worker.
He united in marriage to Aileen Caulk May 18, 1963.
Besides his wife, Aileen Clark of Campbellsville he is survived by one son, Mitchell Clark and wife, Karen of Campbellsville; one grandson, Jared Hunter Clark; one uncle, Stanley Oakes and wife, Henrietta of Campbellsville; several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends.
He was also preceded in death by two sisters and three brothers: Geraldine Sprowles, Dennis Clark, Sarah Mae Vance, Elbert Clark, Jr. and Charles Clark.

Mr. David Vernon “Doc” Hughes of Campbellsville was born in Taylor County on March 11, 1958 and departed this life on February 28, 2015 at the Jewish Hospital in Louisville. He was 56 years, 11 months, and 17 days of age. Mr. Hughes – or Doc, as he was better known – was a well-respected mechanic, and would often diagnose engine complications by ear before anyone else would even notice a problem. Although a man of few words, he made it obvious he loved his family, and was extremely proud of the lives they led. He professed faith in Christ, and was a member of the Cane Valley Baptist Church.
He leaves to cherish his memory:
One son: David Ray Hughes and wife Shannon of Campbellsville,
One daughter: Patricia Ann Boyd and husband Shane of Hustonville,
Four grandchildren: Chance Hovious, David Allen Hughes, Triston Boyd, and Allison Elizabeth Boyd,
Six siblings: Billy Price and wife Diane of Campbellsville, Evelyn Dile and husband Kenny of Greensburg, Shirley Perkins of Campbellsville, Linda Rooker of Campbellsville, Kathy Hughes of Indiana, Travis Hughes of Campbellsville, and several Burchett step-siblings,
And a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Vernon Ray Hughes and Elizabeth May Price Hughes Burchett, and two brothers, Colman Price and Marvin Price.
There will be a funeral service to honor the life of David Vernon “Doc” Hughes on Wednesday, March 4, 2015 at 1:00 PM at the L.R. Petty Funeral Home, 1765 New Columbia Rd., Campbellsville, KY 42718. Bro. Mike Woodrum will be officiating. Interment will follow in the Campbellsville Memorial Gardens Cemetery, 3878 Greensburg Rd., Campbellsville, KY 42718
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday, March 3, from 5:00-8:00 PM.
