Barthena Goff Harden of Campbellsville, daughter of the late Arthur Cecil (A.C.) Goff Sr. and Lucille Moss Goff was born February 12, 1934 in Taylor County, Kentucky. She died at 6:20 A.M., Sunday, March 29, 2015 in Campbellsville.
Age: 81
She professed faith in Christ and was a member of ElkHorn Baptist Church.
She was a retired employee of General Telephone Company.
She united in marriage to Bobby L. Harden October 31, 1953. He preceded her in death November 15, 1988.
She is survived by one son and daughter-in-law, Ricky B. and Kathy Harden of Campbellsville; three grandchildren: Justin Lynn Harden and wife, Kendal, Jessie Rae Harden and Sami Hollingsworth and husband, Ben of Campbellsville; four great-grandchildren: Poppi Harden, Iris Harden, Lux Harden, and Honey Harden; two sisters-in-law and two brothers-in-law: Joyce Goff, Aileen Wilcoxson and husband, Frank and Paul D. Rogers of Campbellsville and Donald Harden and wife, Shirley of Perryville; several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends.
She was also preceded in death by one brother, Cecil “Gus” Goff, Jr.
September 10, 1993.

Mrs. Elizabeth Jean Sandlin, age 56 of Elkhorn, passed away on Friday at her home.
Survivors include: Three daughters: Melissa Stokes and husband Walter, Angel Sandlin and fiancée Brandon Sturgill all of Campbellsville and Wilma May of Port Clinton, Ohio.
Two sons: Jimmy D. Sandlin of Whitesburg and Billy K. Sandlin and wife Sandra of Tiffin, Ohio.
One sister: Annie Halcomb of Tiffin, Ohio.
One brother: Glen Taulbee of Tiffin, Ohio.
Five grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.
The funeral service for Mrs. Elizabeth Jean Sandlin will be conducted Monday at 1:00 P.M. at the L.R. Petty Funeral Home with burial to follow in the Jones Chapel Cemetery.
Visitation after 11 AM Monday at the funeral home.
Memorials are suggested to the funeral expense fund, which can be made at the funeral home.

Dorothy Allen Holmes, age 90, of Campbellsville passed away Friday, March 27, 2015 at The Grandview in Campbellsville.
She was born on February 14, 1925 in Adair County to the late Henry Allen and Rilda Russell Cundiff. Dorothy was an active member of Shiloh Cumberland Presbyterian Church, was a member of the Taylor County Homemakers, a 4-H leadership sponsor, and enjoyed traveling.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Leonard Holmes, and her brother, Edwin Russell Cundiff.
She is survived by two sons, Michael Holmes and his wife, Rachel of Paris, Kentucky, and Maurice Holmes and his wife, Lisa of Campbellsville; four grandchildren, John Holmes and his, wife Erica of Bradenton, Florida, Dr. Amanda Rowland and her husband Dr. Aaron Rowland of Danville, Christopher Holmes of Paris, Kentucky, and Jessica and her husband, Matt Schartz of Farmers Branch, Texas; two great-granddaughters, Alexandria Jane Rowland and Aubrey May Rowland; and one sister-in-law, Gail Cundiff of Shepherdsville, Kentucky.
Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 pm Monday, March 30th at Lyon-DeWitt-Berry Funeral Home with burial in Brookside Cemetery.
The family request visitation from 5 to 8 pm Sunday, March 29th at Lyon-DeWitt-Berry Funeral Home.
