Lucille Allen of Campbellsville, daughter of the late Ray Thomas Martin and Gennie Ann DeWitt Martin, was born September 29, 1936, in Taylor County, Kentucky.  She died at 10:30 A.M., Thursday, July 3, 2014, in Campbellsville.      Age: 77

She professed faith in Christ and was a member of Mt. Carmel Baptist Church,

She united in marriage to Lewis Allen June 26, 1954. He preceded her in death April 19, 2005.

She is survived by two sons: Lee Allen and wife, Jenny of Campbellsville and Raymond Allen and wife, Jessie of New Albany, Indiana; four grandchildren: Julie Allen of Campbellsville, Jackie Allen of Jeffersonville, Indiana, Dustin Allen of Clarksville, Indiana and Blake Allen of Campbellsville; one great-granddaughter, Ayreal Allen of Campbellsville; one brother, David Martin of Campbellsville; several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends.

She was also preceded in death by a sister, Stella Martin in infancy,

February 29, 1924.

 

VISITATION: 5-8 P.M., Sunday, July 6,2014 at Parrott & Ramsey Funeral Home

FUNERAL SERVICE:  11:00 A.M., Monday, July 7th, 2014 at Parrott & Ramsey Funeral Home in Campbellsville by Bro. Freddy Thompson and Bro. Randall Underwood with burial to follow in Mt. Washington Baptist Church Cemetery

Anne Elizabeth “Liz” Shaw

Liz Shaw 002Anne Elizabeth “Liz” Shaw of Campbellsville, daughter of the late Robert Roy Ramsey and Velma Webster Ramsey was born May 6, 192. She died Monday, June 30, 2014.      Age: 91

She professed faith in Christ and was a faithful member of Campbellsville Baptist Church,

She was valedictorian of the 1940 graduating class of Campbellsville High School.

She was retired bookkeeper from McMahan Cherry Furniture Company.

She united in marriage to Ellis Russell Shaw August 16, 1941. He preceded her in death February 22, 2008.

She is survived by one son and daughter-in-law, Robert Seymour “Bob” and Ruth Ann Badgett Shaw of Frankfort; two grandsons: Dr. Joseph Russell (Caroline)Shaw of Bloomington, Indiana and Jason Robert ( Rachel)Shaw of Frankfort; four great-grandchildren: Ian Joseph Shaw and Emma Elizabeth Shaw of Bloomington, Indiana and Robert Merritt Shaw and Sawyier Jillson Shaw of Frankfort; two brothers-in-law and their wives: Don and Gail Shaw and Dick and Charlene Shaw.

She was also preceded in death by one brother and one sister, Frank “Biz” Ramsey and Mary Barbara “Bob” Pope.

VISITATION:  6:00 – 8:00 p.m., Friday, July 4, 2014 at Parrott & Ramsey Funeral Home

Michael Adam Copley of Owensboro, formerly of Campbellsville and Lexington, son of Laura Kathy Een Copley and the late Clarence Edward Copley, Jr., was born in Houston, Texas September 20, 1979. He died Saturday, June 28, 2014 in Owensboro. Age: 34

He professed faith in Christ and was a member of Heritage Baptist Church in Owensboro.

He was a graduate of University of Kentucky School of Business.

He was employed by MentorKidsKy.org.

He is survived by his mother, Laura Kathy Een Copley of Shelbyville, formerly of Campbellsville; two brothers: Stephen Copley and wife, Janetta and Jonathan Copley and wife, Gretchen of Louisville; one niece and one nephew, Grace Evelyn Copley and Wyatt Joseph Copley; grandmother, Irene Copley Boots of Minnesota; and many other relatives and friends.
