Mr. Joseph “Big Ben” Campbell, age 55, of Lebanon, formerly of Washington County, passed away on Tuesday in Lebanon at his residence.
He is survived by his wife: Dottie Tamme Campbell of Lebanon.
His mother: Nancy Justice Chase of Lebanon; his father: William David Campbell of Mt. Sterling.
4 children: Joseph Benjamin Campbell, Quenton Beaux Campbell, Frances Elaine May Campbell and Kimberlee Marie Campbell, all of Springfield.
A step-daughter: Cameron Nicole Lunsford of Lebanon.
A brother: William Randolph Campbell of Indianapolis.
Sisters-in-law: Barbara Brule of Florida, Donna Edwards of Danville, Carolyn Edwards of Bardstown, Patty Confer of Lebanon and Sandy Tamme of Gravil Switch.
A brother-in-law: Vic Edwards of Louisville.
6 grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.
Cremation has been chosen by the family and a memorial service will be held at a later date.

Kenneth Ray Pike, age 74, of Elkhorn died there on Sunday, April 6, 2014 after an illness.
He was born in Taylor County on June 14, 1939 to the late Omer and Marie Wooldridge Pike. A retired truck driver, he was a member of the Knifley Area Volunteer Fire Department, the Campbellsville-Taylor County Rescue Squad and the Taylor County Sheriff’s Department.
He is survived by his wife Sharon Warren Pike; his children, Latisha Markins and her husband, Mike of Vine Grove, KY, Beverly Saumier and her husband, Lance of Bardstown, KY, Alexis Pike, of Frankfort, KY and Jacob Pike of Elkhorn; a brother, Melvin Pike, of Campbellsville; a sister, Opal Judd and her husband, Paul of Campbellsville; his grandchildren, Ashley King, Austin Powell, Devin Brady, Haley Brady and Jamie Brady and a great-grandson, Bently Hughes.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his sisters, Katherine Pike, Nellie Webb, Edna Reed and Mary Ann Clark.
Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, April 8th at the Lyon-DeWitt-Berry Funeral Home, Campbellsville with burial to follow in Robinson Chapel Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Monday, April 7th at the Lyon-DeWitt-Berry Funeral Home.
Serving as pallbearers are Devin Brady, Austin Powell, Mike Markins, Stacey Loy, Darrell Caldwell and Wayne Warren. Honorary pallbearers will be , Jacob Pike, Melvin Pike, Roger Pike and Jerry Pike.
The family suggests that expressions of sympathy may take the form contributions the Muscular Dystrophy Association or Gideon Bibles.

Jewell Beard of Campbellsville, daughter of the late Roy W. Sexton and Pearl Elizabeth Dixon Sexton, was born in Taylor County, Kentucky, December 4, 1927. She died at 10:00 A.M., Friday, April 4, 2014 in Campbellsville. Age: 86
She professed faith in Christ and was a member of the Campbellsville First Cumberland Presbyterian Church.
She was a childcare provider.
She united in marriage to Rev. Shiley Beard in 1945. He preceded her in death April 18, 1987.
She is survived by one son and one daughter: Paul Beard and wife, Ann and Phyllis Milby and husband, Tom of Campbellsville; a son-in-law and his wife, John and Debbie Cable of Bowling Green; eight grandchildren: Damon Beard, Paula Rose, Laura Marcum, Vicki Milby, Anthony Harris, Tye Cable, Ryan Cable and Michelle Stewart; five great-grandchildren: Mark Evan Harris, Katie Harris, Elizabeth Marcum, Alayna Marcum, and Mia Harris; four sisters: Wilma Farmer and husband, Gerald, Sue Burriss and husband, Jackie, Kay Harrison and husband, Harold of Campbellsville, and Linda O. Castillo and husband, Pepi of Birmingham, Alabama; brother-in-law, Conrad Claycomb and sister-in-law, Faye Sexton of Campbellsville;
She was preceded in death by two daughters: Patricia Stewart and Peggy Cable; a grandson, Timothy Perkins; and three sisters and two brothers: Dorothy Claycomb, Billy Frank Sexton, Deloris Graham, Roy O. “Tom” Sexton and Geneva Mattingly.
