Jamia Skaggs of Campbellsville, daughter of the late James William Skaggs and Dalice “Bit” Hearon Skaggs, was born in Taylor County, Kentucky, December 12, 1956. She died at 9:52 P.M., Sunday, August 25, 2013 in Campbellsville. Age: 56
She professed faith in Christ and was a member of Mt. Roberts Baptist Church.
She was office coordinator for the State Fire Rescue Training Area 14.
She was an inductee of the Kentucky Firefighters Association Hall of Fame and had worked on countless projects benefitting the Kentucky Firefighters Association. She played a vital role in the State Fire School and Exhibit Show for 19 years. She had also assisted with the State Firefighter Olympics, the Firefighter Memorial and many other special events. She played a vital role in the purchase of the public relations booth for the KFA. She had pursued the advancement of membership in the KFA in Area Region 14 and throughout the state. Jamia started the Kentucky Firefighters Association Facebook group which now has over 700 members.
She is survived by a sister and brother-in-law, Deborah S. and Terry Mardis of Campbellsville; two nephews: Brian Mardis and wife, Dawn and Michael Mardis and wife, Lisa of Campbellsville; five great-nephews: Austin Blake Mardis, Nathaniel Cole Mardis, Noah Ethan Mardis, William Andrew Mardis and Joshua Luke Mardis of Campbellsville; several aunts, cousins and many other relatives and friends.

Teresa Pruitt of Campbellsville, daughter of Louise Curry Coffey and the late Kenneth Coffey, was born in Adair County, Kentucky, August 26, 1960. She died at 9:28 A.M., Saturday, August 24, 2013 in Campbellsville. Age: 52
She united in marriage to Roger Pruitt February 14, 1980.
Besides her husband Roger Pruitt, she is survived by one son, Justin Pruitt of Campbellsville; one stepson, Christopher Pruitt of Park City; two step- grandchildren: Braxton Pruitt of Park City and Teri Jo Davis of Glasgow; her mother, Louise Curry Coffey of Campbellsville; one brother: Mark Coffey and wife Rebecca of Columbia; one sister-in-law, Edith Coffey of Campbellsville; a special cousin, Cathy Curry Birlew of Stockton, California; special friend, Sherry Williams of Columbia; several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends.
She was also preceded in death by a brother, David Coffey.

William A. Farmer of Campbellsville, son of the late Ray Farmer and Minnie Parker Farmer, was born March 15, 1934, in Jackson County, Kentucky. He died at 4:50 A.M., Wednesday, August 21, 2013 in Greensburg. Age: 79
He professed faith in Christ and was a member of South Campbellsville Baptist Church.
He was a retired employee of Chandler’s Office Supply in Campbellsville.
He united in marriage to Betty Hayes March 21, 1953.
Besides his wife, Betty Farmer, he is survived by one son and two daughters: Richard Farmer and wife, Sue, Connie Humphress and husband, David of Campbellsville and Cathy Spear and husband, Lonnie of Elizabethtown; six grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren; one sister, Mildred Wells of Dayton, Ohio; several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends.
He was also preceded in death by four brothers and two sisters: Edgar Farmer, Ted Farmer, Jerry Farmer, Paul Farmer, Ruth Johnson and Thelma Philbeck.
