Ms. Bethel E. (Coomes) Blair age 92, formally of Taylor County, died Thursday, June 20, 2013, at her residence in Hodgenville, Kentucky.
Bethel E. Blair was the daughter of the late Ella Christie and Marvin Harden, she was also preceded in death by her husband’s Herman Lee Coomes and Montie Blair, two daughters; Shirley Keltner and Janet Mullins, one grandson; Neil Smothers, one brother and six sisters.
Bethel was a member of the First Church of God and retired from Fruit of the Loom, she was a loving and caring mother and grandmother and a friend to many.
She is survived by two daughters and son-in-laws; Phyllis and James Jeffries of Hodgenville and Patricia and Steve Scroggins of Jeffersonville, eleven grandchildren, nineteen great grandchildren and eight step children; Ted (Jewel) Blair of Elizabethtown, Darrell (Wilma) Blair, Donnie (Marcella) Blair, Roger (Donna) Blair, Carolyn (Walter) Kenser,
Shirlene (Gary) Osborne, Dixie (Haywood) Riner and Lou Ann (Jack) Beard all of Campbellsville along with a host of family and friends.
Services for Ms. Bethel Blair were conducted at 2 PM Sunday, June 23, 2013 at Lyon-DeWitt Funeral Home with burial in the Brookside Cemetery.

Mr. Beril Wayne Hoosier, age 67, of Campbellsville, passed away on Wednesday, June 19, 2013, at the Taylor Regional Hospital.
He was the son of the late Charlie and Mary Cox Hoosier. He was a former self-employed contractor.
Survivors include a son and daughter-in-law: Justin Wayne and Carla Hoosier of Bowling Green.
A daughter: Brandi Escudero of Campbellsville; a step-daughter: Cherokee Moore of Indiana.
A sister: Martha Colvin of Campbellsville.
3 grandchildren: Halli Allgood, Alexis Hoosier and Amelia Escudero and a host of other relatives and friends.
He was preceded by three brothers, one half-brother, one sister, two half-sisters and his companion: Connie Moore, who preceded him in death on April 29, 2013.
The funeral service for Mr. Beril Wayne Hoosier, will be conducted Saturday, June 22, 2013 at 10:00 A.M. at the L.R. Petty Funeral Home and Cremation Service with burial to follow in the Callahan Cemetery.
Visitation from 5-8 PM on Friday at the L.R. Petty Funeral Home and Cremation Service in Campbellsville.

Lavern Stone of Campbellsville, daughter of the late Lovell Cornwell and Earlene Montgomery Cornwell, was born in Warren County, Kentucky, November 2, 1922. She died at 5:55 A.M., Sunday, June 16, 2013 in Greensburg. Age: 90
She professed faith in Christ and was a member of the St. Mark United Methodist Church.
She was a retired employee of Fruit of the Loom in Campbellsville.
She united in marriage to James E. Stone, who preceded her in death July 9, 1996.
She is survived by one son and daughter-in-law, Terry Joe and Jeri Stone of Campbellsville; three grandchildren: Kelly Joe Stone and wife, Dr. Monica Stone of Summersville, Kim Arnold and husband, Steve of Campbellsville and Jay Stone and wife, Melanie of Hopkinsville; one step-grandson, Greg Jeffries and wife, Krisinda of Campbellsville; eleven great-grandchildren: Chelsey Shae Stone, Thomas “ TBear” Stone, Jake Stone, Lila Grace Stone, Trey Stone, Cameron Hughes, Wyatt Stone, Lucas Rush Stone, Julie Stone, Victoria Stone and Haylie Stone; one step-great-grandson, Cameron Jeffries; several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by a son and daughter-in-law, Gary and Wanda Stone; a daughter-in-law, Gerri Crawley Stone ; and a grandson, John Stone.
