Betty E. Johns, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend, passed away peacefully on November 18, 2024, at the age of 82. She was born on April 14, 1942, to Arthur and Evelyn Upchurch, who preceded her in death.
Betty is survived by her devoted husband, Kevin Johns, with whom she shared many wonderful years. She is also survived by her loving children, Sherry Bowen and her husband, Larry, and Allen Gaddis and his wife, Tonia. Betty also loved and cherished her five grandchildren: Amelia Bowen, Jessa, Jaxon, June and Jenny Gaddis, who brought her immense joy and pride. Also surviving is a stepson, Nick Johns.
Also preceding her in death were her brothers, Teddy and Eddie Upchurch, as well grandsons, Ethan Bowen and Joel Gaddis.
Betty’s life was filled with love and beauty, reflected in her passion for hummingbirds and her vibrant décor and landscape, where she nurtured beautiful flowers that mirrored her gentle and caring nature. She shared a close bond with her siblings, including her sister, Brenda Loy, and her brother, Reed Upchurch and his wife Shirley, as well as her sister-in-law, Carol Upchurch.
Betty was a long-time employee of Fruit of the Loom having been a quality control technician. She continued many friendships made from her time at Fruit.
Betty will be remembered for her warm spirit, boundless love for her family, and the joy she found in life’s simple pleasures. Her memory will forever live in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.
A celebration of Betty’s life will be held at Parrott & Ramsey Funeral Home in Campbellsville with the family receiving visitors at 10 AM – 1 PM, Friday, November 22, 2024 and the funeral service to be at 1 PM. You are invited to join family and friends as we gather to honor her legacy.

Ruby English, 93, of Campbellsville, daughter of the late Ollie Pendleton and Martha Gaskins Pendleton was born July 7th, 1931 in Columbia, Kentucky and departed this life on Sunday, November 17th, 2024 at Grandview Nursing & Rehabilitation Center in Campbellsville.
Ruby united in marriage to Mr. George English on May 7th, 1955. He preceded her in death on June 17th, 1974.
Ruby was a longtime employee of Scotts in downtown Campbellsville.
Ruby is survived by:
Two brothers and one sister: Bobby Pendleton of Whiteland, IN; Vidus Pendleton and his wife, Nina, of Franklin, IN; and Ruth Hutchison of Columbia
Her dear friend, Dwalla Akridge of Campbellsville
Several nieces and nephews
A host of other family and friends
Besides her husband, Ruby was preceded in death by:
Three brothers: Kenneth Pendleton, Carl Pendleton, and Howard Pendleton
VISITATION: Wednesday, November 20th, 2024 from 7:00 am – 12:00 pm at Auberry Funeral Home in downtown Campbellsville.
FUNERAL: Wednesday, November 20th, 2024 at 12:00 pm at Auberry Funeral Home in downtown Campbellsville with burial to follow in Campbellsville Memorial Gardens.
PALLBEARERS: Mark Hutchison, Randy Hutchison, Mark Curry, Matthew Sanders, Zach Hutchison, and Anthony Arnold

Sherry Clark of Campbellsville, daughter of the late R.B. Wright and LouVera Mays Wright, was born August 19, 1959 in Taylor County, Kentucky. She died at 3:15 A.M, Sunday, November 17, 2024 at her home in Taylor County. Age: 65
She professed faith in Christ and was a member of Beech Grove Baptist Church.
Sherry was a loving mother and Nana and dedicated her life to her family and her Lord.
She was a retired employee of Frost-Arnett.
Sherry united in marriage to Jeff Clark on December 18, 1976.
Besides her husband, Jeff Clark of Campbellsville, Sherry is survived by one son and two daughters: Jeremy Clark and wife, Brandi of Sterling, Kansas, Lydia Corey and husband, Gill and Shayla Garrett and husband, Tyler of Campbellsville; six grandchildren: Nikki Landreth, Kayley Anderson, Jeremiah Clark, Isaiah Clark, Maci Corey, and Madelyn Corey; one brother: Ottis Wright; special family friends: Craig and Kathy Larimore; several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends.
Sherry was also preceded in death by one brother, Billy Wright.
