Juanita Wolford of Campbellsville, daughter of the late Vird Lewis Henderson and Ermine Coakley Henderson, was born February 25, 1938 in Taylor County, Kentucky. She died at 8:15 A.M., Monday, January 13, 2025 in Campbellsville. Age: 86
She professed faith in Christ, was of the Baptist faith and had attended Campbellsville Christian Church and Elk Horn Baptist Church.
Juanita was a retired employee of Fruit of the Loom in Campbellsville.
She loved doing crossword puzzles and watching game shows. Her family said she was a really good cook.
She united in marriage to Norman Richard Wolford and he preceded her in death September 20, 1992.
Juanita is survived by one son and three daughters: Doug Wolford, Tammy Wolford Hunt, Kim Johnson and husband, Carl and Amy Taylor and husband, Richie of Campbellsville; eight grandchildren: Ashley Ramirez and husband, Armando of Cripple Creek, Colorado, Jacob Wolford and wife, Kelly of Estes Park, Colorado, April McKeel and husband, Andrew of Murray, Niki Atwell, Richard Martin and wife, Amanda and Amanda Martin, Raelee Taylor and Callie Taylor of Campbellsville; three step-grandchildren: Crystal Johnson and Marcus Johnson and wife, Lacy of Kansas City, Missouri and Misty Roller and husband, Kenny of Bardstown; fifteen great-grandchildren; one sister, Paula Grumbles and husband, Roger “Whitey” of Travelers Rest, South Carolina; several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends.
She was also preceded in death by a daughter, Sandy Wolford January 20, 2012 and two brothers and one sister: Gary Dale Henderson, Wilbur Henderson and Lillie Whitlow.

Tammy Lynn Rakes, of Mannsville, KY, the daughter of Carolyn (Cornett) Wise and the late Pious Alexander Wise was born April 14, 1968 in Marion County, KY and departed this life on Sunday, January 12, 2025 at the Taylor Regional Hospital. She was 56 years of age.
She was a cook at Campbellsville University, having been employed by Pioneer Catering, and was of the Baptist Faith.
She united in marriage on April 23, 1994 to Ricky Lynn Rakes of Mannsville, who survives.
Other survivors include her children: Joseph Michael “Joey” Wise and wife Delisa and Latrichia Lake and husband Justin, all of Campbellsville, and Christina Bagby and husband Brian of Liberty.
Her mother: Carolyn Wise,
Also a brother and two sisters: Tommy Wise, Sue Wise and Melinda Wise; four grandchildren: Hunter Mattingly, Leilah Aud, Liana Lake and Lillynn Lake, and close friends: Karen Robinson, Lisa Williams and Melissa Trunnell, and a host of other relatives and friends.
To honor the wishes of Tammy, cremation rites were honored and conducted by L.R. Petty Funeral Home in Campbellsville.

John Charles Sanders of Campbellsville, KY, the son of the late Charles Durham Sanders and Mary Dudgeon Sanders was born on May 15, 1951, and departed this life on Friday, January 10, 2025, at Norton Audubon Hospital. He was 73 years of age.
He attended the Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church and Our Lady of The Hills Catholic Church. He was a retired employee of Parker-Kalon. He enjoyed cooking, and quilting, and deeply cared for his wife, children, and grandchildren. He liked riding four-wheelers and being outdoors. He was a hugger and was very compassionate towards others.
He is survived by his loving wife Karen Cox Sanders, and two daughters: Shannon Pruyear and her husband Mikie of Campbellsville, and Savannah Sanders of Somerset. Nine grandchildren: Jacob, Micheal, Jesse, Anna, Christine, Mason, Harlan, CJ, and Lilly.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by one sister.
There will be a Funeral Service for John Charles Sanders at 1:00 P.M. on Thursday, January 16, 2025, at the L.R. Petty Funeral Home Chapel in Campbellsville with burial to follow in the Sanders Cemetery.
Rev. Father Sheejan George will officiate.
The family requested visitation on Thursday, January 16, 2025, from 11:00 A.M. until the time of the service at the funeral home.
