Merlin Boyd Harrison of Campbellsville, son of the late Lelan Harrison and Lizzie Ermine Vaughn Harrison was born in Taylor County, Kentucky on March 19, 1926. He died at 9:55 P.M., Wednesday, July 25, 2012 in Campbellsville. Age: 86 He professed faith in Christ and was a member of Shiloh Cumberland Presbyterian Church. He was a veteran of World War II having served his country honorably in the United States Army achieving the rank of corporal. He was a retired employee of Tennessee Gas Transmission. He united in marriage to Lola Mae Beard February 5, 1949. She preceded him in death April 19, 1987. He was a loving and devoted husband, wonderful father and a good friend. He is survived by one son and two daughters: Danny Harrison and wife, Elaine of Louisville and Carolyn Walters and husband, Robert, and Judy Harrison of Campbellsville; two grandchildren: Robin Michelle Walters of Campbellsville and Danny Boyd Harrison Jr. and wife Ammy of Shelbyville; one great-granddaughter, Meredith Ava Harrison; one brother, Richard Morrison Harrison and wife, Myra of Cincinnati, Ohio; a special niece, Tammie Baumgardner of Campbellsville; several other nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends. He was also preceded in death by four brothers and two sisters: Cleston Kemper Harrison MIA in World War II, Charles “Cotton” Harrison, Lawrence Earl Harrison, John “Johnnie” Garnett Harrison, Eunice Sapp and Lois Newcomb.

Clayton Sullivan of Campbellsville, son of the late George and Cora Burress Reynolds, was born in Marion County, Kentucky, February 22, 1928. After the death of his mother in 1929, he was adopted by John William and Lillie Burress Sullivan. He died at 6:45 A.M., Tuesday, July 24, 2012, in Lebanon. Age: 84
He professed faith in Christ and was a member of the Mt. Washington Baptist Church where he was a deacon for sixty-two years.
He was a lifelong farmer.
He united in marriage to Kathryn Hunt December 21, 1946.
Besides his wife, Kathryn Sullivan, he is survived by one son and two daughters: Ronnie Sullivan and wife, Gwynette, Wanda Miller and husband, Keith and Renee Osborne and husband, Harold of Campbellsville; six grandchildren: Jason Miller and wife, Angie, Nicholas Miller, Chad Sullivan and wife, Carol, Farrah McLean and husband, John, Hana Osborne and Jon Osborne of Campbellsville; six great-grandchildren: Molly Sullivan, Hunter Miller, Gracie Miller, Clay McLean, Cole McLean and Carlee McLean of Campbellsville; two brothers and one sister: Monroe Reynolds, Jerry Reynolds and wife, Linda and Clara Evans of Marion County; one brother-in-law, Kyle Bugg of Paris, Kentucky; one sister-in-law, Louise Reynolds of Columbus, Indiana; several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends.
He was also preceded in death by his adopted parents, John William and Lillie Sullivan and one brother and one sister: Leo Reynolds and Edith Ann Bugg.

(LEBANON, Ky.) – Tpr. Jonathon Houk is investigating a collision that occurred today at 6:24 PM EDT. 39-year-old Jason E. Payne of Springfield was traveling east on KY 208 on a 1993 Harley Davidson Motorcycle when he crossed the center line and struck a westbound 2009 Chevy operated by 59-year-old Mary L. Beaven of Lebanon. Beaven and a passeneger, 95-year-old Mary M. Lee of Lebanon, were wearing seatbelts but were transported to Springview Hospital where they were treated and released. Jason E. Payne was pronounced dead at the scene by the Marion County Coroner. He was not wearing a helmet. Marion County EMS/Rescue and Lebanon Police Department assisted
