Phyllis Ann Cox of Campbellsville, daughter of the late Robert “Bob” Franklin Johnson and Lela Belle Allen Johnson, was born August 28, 1947 in Casey County, Kentucky. She died at 6:00 A.M., Wednesday, January 11, 2012 in Campbellsville. Age: 64
She professed faith in Christ and was a member of the Hilltop Trinity Full Gospel Tabernacle.
She united in marriage to Robert Cox December 12, 1970. He preceded her in death August 22, 2001.
She is survived by one son and two daughters: Robbie Cox, Lisa Ann Cox and fiancée, Billy Blakeman and Robin Leigh Cox and fiancée, Billy Wallace of Campbellsville; two grandchildren: Nichole McCauley and Jessica Cundiff of Campbellsville; two great-grandchildren: Ryder McCauley and KayLee McCauley of Campbellsville; three brothers and five sisters and their spouses: Edith Campbell of Campbellsville, Lilburn Johnson of Greensburg, Melvin Johnson of Knifley, Wanda Sanders and Daisy Miller of Liberty, Larry Johnson and Shirley Cox of Hope, Indiana and Shelby Swafford of Spring Hill, Tennessee; several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends.
She was also preceded in death by one brother and one sister: Wayne Johnson and Margie Parker.

Elizabeth Raikes of Hodgenville, formerly of Campbellsville, daughter of the late Ira Blevins and Lillie Richerson Blevins was born February 2, 1920 in Taylor County, Kentucky. She died at 1:15 P.M., Saturday, January 7, 2012 in Hodgenville. Age: 91.
She professed faith in Christ and was a member of the Lowell Avenue Baptist Church.
She was a former sales clerk and retired employee of Fruit of the Loom.
She is survived by one son and one daughter and their spouses: Larry D. and Judy Raikes of Bardstown and Beverly and Leonard “Speedy” Akermon of Hodgenville; five grandchildren: Ryan Hamilton Raikes, Shellie Thompson and Robbie Offutt of Bardstown, Sheila Haselwood of Hodgenville and Lynn Akermon of Jeffersonville, Indiana; seven great-grandchildren; two brothers, Edwin Blevins of Campbellsville and Dr. Robert L. Blevins of Lexington; several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends.
She was also preceded in death by one sister and three brothers: Faye Jeanette Blevins in infancy, Carrol Blevins, Ray E. Blevins and Leslie Blevins.

Frances Smith of Campbellsville, daughter of the late Wilbur K. Smith and Myrtie Pearl Durham Smith, was born in Taylor County, Kentucky, February 20, 1919. She died Friday, January 6, 2012 in Campbellsville. Age: 92
In 1933, she made a profession of faith and joined South Campbellsville Baptist Church and in early 1950, she became general secretary of Sunday School at the church.
After graduating from Campbellsville High School in 1937, she had one term of business training at Campbellsville College (now Campbellsville University).
She retired from Marcum Grocery Company in early 1960, after working there for 22 ½ years.
She was also a retired employee of Chappell’s Dairy and Taylor Regional Hospital.
She is survived locally by two nephews and two nieces: beloved nephew, Huston “Sonny” Mardis, Ann Cox, Donna Long and David Smith of Campbellsville;
several other nieces and nephews and other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by three sisters and five brothers: Margaret Acree, Elizabeth Mardis, Elsie Parson, Richard Smith, Huston Smith, Ben Smith, Ralph Smith and Albert Smith.
