Three Vehicle Accident in Lebanon Sends Campbellsville Man to Hospital

Trooper Fred Cornett is investigating a collision that occurred Tuesday evening at 5:10 pm two miles North of Lebanon at the junction of  KY 49 and Toad Mattingly Rd.

Joseph B. Blandford, age 17 of Campbellsville was traveling South on KY 49 in  a 1993 Nissan truck when he struck the back of a 2009 KIA being operated by Amanda L. Chumley, age 21 of Stamping Grounds KY.  Chumley was attempting to turn onto Toad Mattingly Road when her vehicle was  knocked into a 2004 KIA being operated by Stacey R. Stout, age 38 of Lebanon.  Stout was stopped at the end of Toad Mattingly Road waiting to turn.

Blandford was treated and released from Springview Hospital.  Chumley , a passenger in her vehicle, Saralyn Hite, age 32 of Gracey KY, Stout, and a passenger in her vehicle, Marley Stout, 1 yr old of Lebanon, (child restraint in use), were not injured.  All occupants were wearing a seat belt. Topix.com Agrees to Stop “Pay-To-Police” Policy

Attorney General Jack Conway led the effort to stop abuses by Topix.com and today, along with 34 attorneys general who signed on to support his efforts, announced that an agreement has been reached with the Internet message board host to improve consumer protections and eliminate the $19.99 fee to expedite review of abusive or inappropriate posts. The agreement is the result of an initiative led by General Conway, Connecticut Attorney General Richard Blumenthal and Nebraska Attorney General Jon Bruning to address consumer protection concerns with the popular website.
