Campbellsville Man injured in Marion County Auto Accident

(MARION COUNTY, KY) – Trooper Ricky Underwood is investigating a collision that occurred 08/05/10 at approximately 4:20 p.m., 4 miles West of Lebanon on US68. The collision occurred when a 1988 Chevy, operated by Samuel Wheatley, age 35, of Lebanon, was traveling westbound on US68 and slowed to make a left hand turn into a parking lot and was struck in the rear by a 2000 Hyundai, operated by Kenneth Mitchell, age 59, of Campbellsville. Wheatley and a passenger, Chad Spalding, age 36, of Lebanon, were both belted and uninjured in the collision. Mitchell was not belted and was transported to the Spring View Hospital where he was treated and released for his injuries. Trooper Underwood was assisted at the scene by Marion County EMS and Marion County Rescue.

Eastridge and Phelps Pharmacy Burglary

On Wednesday, August 04, 2010 at approximately 05:34 AM Campbellsville Police responded to an alarm at the Eastridge and Phelps Pharmacy on Winston Way. Upon arrival it was discovered that a door glass had been broken out and the business had been entered. At this time it is undetermined what was taken. Police are looking for 2 unknown suspects.
