Missing Casey County Woman Found Deceased

(Casey County, KY) – 78-year-old Patricia Ann Modrelle was found deceased Wednesday, June 29, 2011 at approximately 5:00 PM EDT. Ms. Modrelle was scheduled to be at a Doctor’s appointment in Danville at 9:30 EDT on Tuesday morning June 28. When she did not make her appointment and could not be reached by family members, she was reported missing. After a long search on Tuesday and early Wednesday by KSP personnel with helicopter air support, a ground search was initiated. Ms. Modrelle was located approximately 3 miles from her home lying in a dry creek bed just off of KY highway 243. She had driven off of the roadway and through a heavily wooded area, into the creekbed. There was no evidence at the scene to suggest that Ms. Modrelle had taken any action to avoid the incident. Boyle County Coroner Dr. Don Hamner prounounced Ms. Modrelle dead as a result of natural causes. KSP were assisted at the scene by Boyle, Marion and Casey County rescue.

KSP Conducts Missing Person Investigation

(Casey County, KY) -The Kentucky State Police Post 15 – Columbia is conducting a missing person investigation in regards to Patricia Ann Moddrelle (age 78) of Gravel Switch. Mrs. Moddrelle is 5 foot 1 inches and weighs approximately 160 lbs with brown-grey hair and hazel eyes. The last contact with Mrs. Moddrelle was on June 27, 2011 and she was last seen wearing black or green pants with black or tan shoes. Mrs. Moddrelle is possibly operating a maroon 1996 Ford Taruas station wagon with a possible destination of Danville, KY. Anyone with information in regards to the whereabouts of Patricia Ann Moddrelle is urged to contact the Kentucky State Police or nearest law enforcement agency. Trooper A. Likins is continuing the investigation.
