(Campbellsville, Ky) On 10-8-2011 at 3:19pm officers from the Campbellsville Police Department responded to an injury accident on East Broadway near Cumberland Presbyterian Church. 19 year old Benjamin Hoseus of Walton, KY was driving a 2006 Scion when he crossed into the center lane. He struck a 1999 Mercury Mountaineer driven by 49 year old William “Eddie” Swafford of Campbellsville. Swafford was in the center lane attempting to turn left. Two passengers in the Swafford vehicle 47 year old Paul Johnson and 46 year old Margaret Johnson were transported to Taylor Regional Hospital along with Hoseus by Campbellsville Taylor County Medical Service. Swafford was taken to Taylor Regional by a private vehicle.
Agencies Involved: Campbellsville Police Dept., Campbellsville/Taylor County Emergency Medical Service, Campbellsville Taylor County Fire & Rescue.

Travis Lewis of Campbellsville, son of the late Forest Lewis and Florence Brown Lewis, was born in Taylor County, Kentucky January 21, 1928. He died
at 8:41 A.M., Friday, October 7, 2011 in Campbellsville. Age: 83
He professed faith in Christ and was of the Baptist faith.
He was a retired from the Taylor County School System.
He united in marriage to Lora Davis November 20, 1947. She preceded him in death November 16, 1987.
He united in marriage to Mattie Kearney Noel January 7, 1990.
Besides his wife, Mattie Lewis, he is survived by two daughters and two sons: Linda Seaver, Brenda Blevins and husband, Billy Frank and Roger Lewis and wife, Penny of Campbellsville and Donald Lewis and wife, Cindy of Seattle, Washington; one step-daughter, June Parker and husband, Kenny of Campbellsville; twelve grandchildren; fourteen great-grandchlildren;one great-great grandson; one sister, Maxine Rice of Ottawa, Illinois; several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by three sons: Tony Lewis, Lonnie Dean Lewis and Travis Eugene Lewis; a granddaughter, Kimberly Harris and a sister, Lucille Perry.

Billy Harden of Campbellsville, son of the late Thomas M. Harden and Thelma Williams Harden, was born in Taylor County, Kentucky, June 5, 1940. He died at 10:10 P.M., Wednesday, October 5, 2011 in Louisville. Age: 71
He professed faith in Christ and was a member of Woodlawn Christian Church.
He was a retired farmer.
He united in marriage to Dorothy Goode December 6, 1958.
Besides his wife, Dorothy Harden, he is survived by two sons and one daughter: Ronnie Harden and wife, Debbie of Campbellsville, Tommy Harden and wife, Sherry of Elizabethtown and Sandra Kay Miller and husband, Cole of Eastview; five grandchildren: Wyatt Miller, Dillon Miller, Jacob Lee, Kyle Lee and Shelby Harden; one great-grandson, Michael Lee; and many other relatives and friends.
