He died at 11:29 A.M., Wednesday, May 25, 2011, in Campbellsville. Age: 86 He professed faith in Christ and is a member of the Soule Chapel United Methodist Church. He was a retired Navy Chief in Aviation Electronics and was a veteran of World War II and Vietnam, having served his country honorably in the United States Navy. He united in marriage to Nellie Anne Reid October 5, 1954. She preceded him in death May 17, 1987. He united in marriage to Kathryn Hill Gilpin September 15, 1990. She preceded him in death January 7, 2011.
