Joseph Kenneth Wise of Campbellsville, son of the late Earl Wise and Alberta
Drury Wise, was born in Marion County, Kentucky, December 18, 1939. He died
at 6:00 A.M., Wednesday, June 8, 2011, in Campbellsville. Age: 71
He was a member of Our Lady of the Hills Catholic Church.
He served his country honorably in the United States Army.
Besides his wife, Kathleen Hibbard Wise, he is survived by two sons and one daughter: Greg Wise and wife, Susan of Campbellsville, Keith Wise and wife, Hollie of Lebanon and Kristi Wise of Elizabethtown; one step-son, Kevin Hibbard and wife, Jennifer of Greensburg; seven grandchildren: Olivia Wise, Preston Wise, Zach Wise, Seth Wise, Sarah Conner, Tyler Marsh and Mackenzie Marsh; two brothers and six sisters: David Wise and wife, Evelyn, Norma Jean Wise and Jane Lee and husband, David of Lebanon, Deveral Sexton, Opal Porter Nally and husband, C. L., Bernetta Bland and husband, Greg and Omer Darrell Wise and wife, Erin of Campbellsville, Nadine Cambron and husband, Dennis of Raywick; father-in-law, Charles Walter Hibbard of Greensburg; brother-in-law, Homer Lee Hibbard and wife, Lynn of Campbellsville; several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends.

(Adair County, KY) – At 5:52 P.M. C.S.T. Post 15 received a call to respond to 5941 Russell Springs Road in Eastern Adair County. Upon arrival troopers discovered 61 year old Michael Cowan of Columbia with an apparent gunshot wound to the head. Upon further investigation, it was discovered that Cowan had also been ran over with a vehicle prior to the shooting. Cowan was pronounced dead at the scene by the Adair County Coroner’s Office.
Troopers arrested 43 year old Jeffery D. Mcgaha of Columbia who had abandoned his vehicle and left on foot a short distance from the scene. Mcgaha was charged with 1st degree murder and lodged in the Adair County Jail. The investigation is ongoing by Detective Russell Decker.

Sharon Lee Meek Wilson of Richmond, formerly of Campbellsville, daughter of the late Bryan Meek and Edith J. Bell Meek, was born in Brown County, Indiana, July 28, 1935. She died at 2:38 A.M., Friday, June 3, 2011, in Lexington. Age: 75
She was a retired employee of Fruit of the Loom in Campbellsville.
She united in marriage to Foster T. Wilson December 23, 1953. He preceded her in death October 17, 1971.
She is survived by one daughter and one son: Brenda Kay Wright (Tony) of Campbellsville and Michael E. Wilson of Richmond; three grandchildren: Shannon Wilson (Susie), Jennifer Rogers (Robbie) and Tonya Benningfield (Jan) of Campbellsville; eight great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandson; two brothers: Max Bryan Meek (Glenda) of Lebanon and Terry Eugene Meek (Donna) of Richmond; several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends.

Interment was at Campbellsville Memorial Gardens
