Bobby E. Lotter of Finley, son of the late Herman Lotter and Elizabeth Lawson Lotter was born October 20, 1943 in Taylor County, Kentucky. He died at 10:00 A.M., Saturday, January 15, 2011 in Finley. Age: 67
He professed faith in Christ and attended the Wickerville Jesus Name Church in Green County.
He was a retired employee of Independent Stave Company in Lebanon.
He united in marriage to Zelma Hoosier May 12, 1962.
Besides his wife, Zelma Lotter of Finley, he is survived by one daughter and son-in-law, Robin and Winston Boils of Greensburg; two grandchildren, Michael Boils and Brittany Boils of Greensburg; one sister and one brother, Mary Thompson and Harold Lotter and wife Jo Ann of Campbellsville; several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends.
He was also preceded in death by one son, Mikel Eugene Lotter September 8, 1964 in infancy.

(Adair County) Trooper Bradley Stotts is investigating a shooting incident that occurred on 1/15/11 at approximately 9:30 p.m. in Adair County. State Police in Columbia received a call from Adair County Dispatch of shots fired at 304 Harris Road in Adair County.
Upon arrival units located the victim, Carl Harrison age 74 of Columbia, who had been shot in the head. Harrison was transported to Westlake Regional Hospital by Adair County EMS and later transferred to UofL hospital for non life threatening injuries.
KSP located and interviewed a suspect, as well as, the victim and witnesses. The investigation is ongoing by Trooper Stotts. KSP was assisted by the Adair County Sheriff’s office.

(Adair County, KY) – Post 15 received a call from the Adair County dispatch at 10:48 CST today advising that a shooting had occurred at 177 HWY 1952, 7 miles south of Columbia. Upon arrival, KSP Units found that Tammy Bledsoe, who had called 911, shot her husband during a domestic argument.
42-year-old Richard (Ricky) D. Bledsoe was shot multiple times and received treatment at the scene from Adair County EMS. He was then transported to Westlake Hospital in Adair County and then airlifted to University Hospital in Louisville where he is currently in critical condition.
42-year-old Tammy Bledsoe was arrested and charged with Assault 1st Degree and lodged in the Adair County Jail. The couple are married and reside at the location of occurrence. No one else was at the residence. Detective Russell Decker is investigating.
