Mae Bell of Campbellsville, daughter of the late Newt Bennett and Lillie Risen Bennett, was born July 2, 1913 in Green County, Kentucky. She died at 7:40 A.M., Tuesday, December 22, 2009, in Campbellsville. Age: 96
She professed faith in Christ and was a member of the Mt. Carmel Baptist Church.
She united in marriage to Roy W. Bell December 26, 1931. He preceded her in death May 15, 1985.
She is survived by one son and two daughters: Jane Underwood and husband, Chandler of Buffalo, Dorothy DeWitt of Greensburg and Roy Bell, Jr. and wife, Carolene of Ottawa, Illinois; ten grandchildren; twenty-five great-grandchildren; nineteen great-great-grandchildren; two sisters: Opal Wright of Campbellsville and Shelby Jean Moore of Greensburg; and several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by one brother and two sisters: Frances Knopp, Beulah Quinn and Clarence Bennett.

Fannie Marie Holmes, 86

Fannie Marie Holmes, age 86, of Campbellsville died Monday, December 21, 2009, at Life Care Center of Bardstown after an illness.
She was the daughter of the late Alf and Mallie Graham. She was also preceded in death by her husband Ezra Holmes, one brother Leslie Graham, two sisters Janie Livers and Ermine Johnson. She was a member of Lowell Avenue Baptist Church.
She is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law, Jimmie and Vickie Holmes, Allen and Sandy Holmes all of Campbellsville, two daughters and sons-in-law, Jo Ann and Harold Lotter and Carolyn and Eugene Taylor all of Campbellsville. Also surviving are twelve grandchildren, thirty five great grandchildren and two great, great grandchildren.
Funeral services were conducted at 11AM, Wednesday, December 23, 2009 at the Lyon DeWitt Funeral Home with burial in Lebanon National Cemetery.

Mary Underwood of Campbellsville, daughter of the late Herman Smith and Rena Carter Smith was born in Taylor County, Kentucky, May 1, 1917. She died at 3:35 P.M., Saturday, December 19, 2009, in Campbellsville. Age: 92
She professed faith in Christ and was a member of the Mt. Roberts Baptist Church.
She united in marriage to Howard Underwood March 3, 1932. He preceded her in death December 3, 1988.
She is survived by two sons: Donald Underwood and wife, Bernice and Steve Underwood of Campbellsville; daughter-in-law, Mary Lois Underwood of Campbellsville; six grandchildren: Shannon Jo Underwood of Bardstown and Eugene Underwood, Stephen Ray Underwood, Jimmy Underwood, Terry Underwood, and Donna Kay Creason of Campbellsville; one great-grandson, Scott Lee Underwood of Campbellsville; two step-great-granddaughters: Brandi Koening and Brooklyn Underwood of Lexington; several other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by two sons: Jerry Lee Underwood September 13, 1950 and Shelby Dean Underwood November 1, 2003; one step-great-great-grandson, Westin Ash Marlowe; one brother and one sister: Elmer Smith December 26, 1988 and Mabel Uttenhove December 27, 2007.
