Marsha TyAnn Morris

Marsha TyAnn Morris, 63, of Campbellsville, Kentucky, daughter of Barbara Ann Kerr-Murphy and the late Will Joe Kerr was born April 16th, 1961 in Campbellsville, Kentucky, and departed this life on Wednesday, September 25th, 2024 at University of Louisville Hospital in Louisville.

TyAnn united in married to Mr. Lloyd Morris in August 3rd, 2004. He survives.

TyAnn was a loving grandmother and loved spending time with her grandchildren. She professed faith in Christ and attended the First Cumberland Presbyterian Church.

Besides her husband and mother, TyAnn is survived by:

One son, Daniel Wyatt and his wife, Vel, of Campbellsville

Four grandchildren: Leah Kerr, Gaberial Kerr, Wayne Gilpin, Chris Gilpin, all of Campbellsville

Four great-grandchildren: Wyatt Gilpin, Jordan Gilpin, Lukas Gilpin Jasper Gilpin, all of Campbellsville

Two brothers: Billy Jo Kerr and John Kerr and his wife, Donna, of Campbellsville

A host of other family and friends

VISITATION: Monday, September 30th, 2024 from 10:00 am – 12:00 pm at Auberry Funeral Home in downtown Campbellsville.

FUNERAL: Monday, September 30th, 2024 at 12:00 pm at Auberry Funeral Home in downtown Campbellsville. Bro. John Butler will be officiating. Burial to follow in Hogards Chapel Methodist Church Cemetery.

PALLBEARERS: Daniel Wyatt, John Kerr, Chris Gilpin, and Wayne Gilpin

Gerald Davis

Gerald Davis, son of the late Arvil Davis and Marguerite Allen Davis, was born August 27, 1943 in Casey County, Kentucky.  He died at 5:09 A.M., Thursday, September 26, 2024 in Lexington.  Age:  81

He professed faith in Christ and was a member of Pleasant Hill Baptist Church.

Gerald was a retired tool and die maker and a farmer.

He was an excellent gardener, but most importantly was a good husband, father and grandfather.

He united in marriage to Judy Yaden December 23, 1961.

Besides his wife, Judy Davis of Campbellsville, Gerald is survived by two daughters and four sons: Jennifer Schuhmann and husband, Jeffrey, Rob Davis and wife, Angela, Jim Davis, and Lewis Davis of Campbellsville, Matt Davis and wife, Missy of Atlanta, and Crystal Tate and husband, Travis of Alabama; five grandchildren: Bryan Davis, Davis Schuhmann, Jillian Schuhmann, R.C. Tate and Sagan Davis; three sisters and two brothers: Nellie Blevins and husband, Randy of Casey County, Linda Davis of Louisville, Lisa Milburn and husband, Robbie of Danville, Steve Davis and wife, Betty of Bowling Green, and Paul Glen Davis and wife, Carrie of Florida; several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends.

He was also preceded in death by a daughter, Alice Elizabeth in infancy, and a sister, Karen Blevins.

Howard Lane Mayes, 81

Howard Lane Mayes, of Campbellsville, KY, the son of the late William and Mary Frank (Wolford) Mayes, was born January 21, 1942 in Taylor County and departed this life on Wednesday, September 25, 2024 in Campbellsville at his home. He was 81 years of age.

He was a former employee of Caterpillar in Illinois and worked with HVAC for A1 Cooling in Campbellsville and was of the Christian Church Faith.

Howard enjoyed fishing, tinkering with cars and gardening.

Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife: Carlotta (Sanders) Mayes and a daughter: Deanna Marie Ramsey.

Survivors include three children: Keith Mayes and wife Carol and William “Billy” Mayes all of Campbellsville and Amanda “Mandy” Workman of Illinois; two sisters: Darlene Netherland of Campbellsville and Marsha Shrum of Paducah.

Also surviving are eight grandchildren, six great-grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.

The funeral service for Howard Lane Mayes will be Sunday, September 29, 2024 at 2:00 P.M. in the chapel of the L.R. Petty Funeral Home with Interment in the Brookside Cemetery. 

Bro. Steve Orr will be officiating 

Family requests visitation from 5-8 P.M. on Saturday and after 10 AM Sunday at the L.R. Petty Funeral Home,
