Read MorePedestrian Struck by VehicleDate: 06/20/2010 Time: 4:16PM Location: Kroger Green River Plaza Campbellsville Police Officers along with Campbellsville Taylor County Rescue Squad responded to Kroger in Green River Plaza to a call that a pedestrian had been struck by a vehicle. 26 year old Nicole Paige of Campbellsville had been struck in the elbow by the mirror of a 2008 Ford Expedition driven by 63 year old Paul Scott of Louisville. Paige was transported to Taylor Regional Hospital by Campbellsville Taylor County Rescue Squad. She was the daughter of the late Albert and Zanie Allen. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Sherman DeSpain on February 2, 2008, one step-son, Lerman DeSpain, one daughter, Brenda Allen, grandson, Benny Jackson, two brothers, Lilburn Allen and Albert Allen, Jr., two sisters, Goldie DeSpain and Nova Nemus. She is survived by two sons, Larry DeSpain and Donnie DeSpain of Campbellsville, two daughters, Frances Cook of Campbellsville and Barbara Bell of Lebanon, twelve grandchildren, several great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren.
