Lois Jean Thompson, of Campbellsville, the daughter of the late Calvin K. and Winnie B. (Thrasher) Eastridge, was born December 19, 1946 in Knifley and departed this life on Thursday, July 18, 2024 in Lexington at the UK Medical Center. She was 77 years of age.
She united in marriage to Doyle Thompson on June 26, 1965 who preceded her in death in 2004.
Besides her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a brother: Kenneth Eastridge.
Lois had made a profession of faith in Christ and was a member of the Feathersburg Church of God and was a former childcare giver for over 47 years.
She enjoyed spending time with her family especially her grandchildren, she was an avid UK fan and a lover of gospel music including the Gaither’s, which was her favorite.
Survivors include a daughter: Bonnie Graham and husband Roy of Campbellsville: a son: Doug Thompson of Campbellsville; a sister: Pam Smith and husband Norman of Campbellsville.
Five grandchildren: Tara Perkins and husband Jaspar, Shanda Campbell, Carly Waldrep and husband Blair, Jacob Thompson and Angel Edelen and companion Patric; Six great-grandchildren: Payton Coomer, Riley Jo Coomer, Lane Perkins, Crimson Waldrep, Lacy Covey, Leah Covey and one expectant and a host of other relatives and friends.
The funeral service for Lois Jean Thompson will be Tuesday, July 23, 2024 at 11:00 A.M. in the chapel of the L.R. Petty Funeral Home with interment to follow in the Eastridge Cemetery beside her husband.
Bro. John Stilts will be officiating,
Visitation will be Monday from 5-8 PM and after 7 AM Tuesday at the funeral home.

Terri McCubbin Chandler, daughter of the late William Ray McCubbin and Martha Mae Wethington McCubbin, was born on December 24, 1955 in Taylor County, Kentucky. She died Monday, July 15, 2024, in Louisville. Age: 68
She was a retired Civil Servant, having worked at the Social Security Administration and U. S. Postal Service.
Terri is survived by two daughters: Lindsay Rae Johnson of Morgantown and Laura Chandler of Louisville; one granddaughter, Chandler Mae Johnson of Morgantown; one sister, Connie Moyers and husband, Joe of Lexington; two aunts: Melva Lou Beard of Campbellsville and Barbara Rogers of Florida; one niece and one nephew: Leslie Moyers and husband, Brian Rich of Lexington and Jesse Moyers of Atlanta, Georgia and many other relatives and friends.
Terri was also preceded in death by her husband, Robert Clifton “Bobby” Cates.

Aaron “Dale” Beard, 63 years of age, passed away Tuesday, March 26, 2024 at Summa Hospital in Akron, Ohio. Aaron, or Dale as friends and relatives called him, was born on October 5, 1960 to the late Morris “Pompano” and Faye Beard. The eldest of 4 children, Dale was born in Wadsworth, Ohio and grew up in Medina Ohio. During his youth he participated in extracurricular activities and sporting activities. After graduating from Brunswick High School, Dale enlisted in the Marine Corp along with his brother David. In 1986 Dale married Arlene “Annie” Beard. During the course of his life, Dale worked as a CNC machinist by trade. He loved fishing and his hobbies included boating and bass tournaments. Later on in life Dale remarried to Lorraine Poling of Wadsworth, Ohio. Together they bought a home in Rittman, Ohio where Dale lived with his son Jared until his passing. Dale is survived by his daughter, Crystal Wells of Marietta, and son Jared Beard, of Newton Falls. He has 2 grandchildren, Braxton and Isabelle Wells. Dale is preceded in death by his younger brothers, Anthony “Tony” Beard, Shawn David Beard, father, Morris Dale “Pompano” Beard, mother Nona Faye Cox Beard, and surviving sister Tanya (Joe) Algee.
A celebration of life ceremony is to be held Saturday, August 3, 2024, at 2:00 P.M. at the City Lake in Campbellsville with Bro. Jim Collison officiating, followed by entombment at Mt. Zion Cemetery in Acton, Kentucky.
