Bettye Jean Kincheloe of Campbellsville, daughter of the late Henry Franklin Mardis and Golda Mae Tharp Mardis, was born July 24, 1934 in Marion County, Kentucky. She died at 2:45 P.M., Tuesday, May 16, 2023 in Campbellsville. Age: 88
She professed faith in Christ and was a member of Campbellsville Baptist Church.
Bettye Jean united in marriage to Jesse Morris Kincheloe October 19, 1962 and he preceded her in death August 14, 2011.
She is survived by daughters: Karen Patton of Chicago, Illinois and Laura Kincheloe of Lexington; one sister, Anne Mardis of Campbellsville; one niece, Susan Skaggs and husband, Terry of Owensboro; several special cousins and many other relatives and friends.

Millard Randall Carney, of Elk Horn (Bass Ridge) the son of the late Stanley and Grace (Ross) Carney, was born July 4, 1937 in Knifley, KY and departed this life on Tuesday, May 16, 2023 in Somerset at the Jean Waddle Care Center. He was 85 years of age.
He had made a profession of faith in Christ and was a member of the Raikes Hill Baptist Church, where he was known as the church hugger. He was a former logger, having owned and operated Carney Logging.
Millard enjoyed hunting, playing cards, cornhole, family games of all kinds, walking and being outdoors, spending time with family and friends and making people smile.
Survivors include his wife Ann (Buckholdt) Carney; his children: Tony Carney and wife Regena of Danville, Phillip Carney and wife Laura of Jamestown, Teresa Hinman and husband Glen and Lesa Cogar and husband Larry, both of Ohio, Bekki Lamkin and husband Mike of Raywick, Sandra Grant and husband Wally of Columbia.
Also surviving is LouRaye Smith and husband Tom, Kay Krug and husband Eddie of Knifley and Cindy Williams and husband Jerry of Elk Horn; nine grandchildren, fourteen great-grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by two sisters and three brothers: Margaret Carney, Janet Sanders, Stanley Carney, Charles Carney and Mike Carney.
Funeral Service for Millard Randall Carney will be Monday, May 22, 2023 at 11:00 A.M. EST in the Campbellsville Chapel of the L.R. Petty Funeral Home with burial to follow in the Caldwell Chapel Cemetery.

Family requests visitation from 5-8 PM EST on Sunday, May 21, 2023 at the funeral home.
Memorials are suggested to the donation of Gideon Bibles or Hospice of Lake Cumberland, both can be made at the funeral home.

Winfred Jolly Humphress of Campbellsville, son of the late John Alvin Humphress and Ruby Eula Peterson Humphress, was born in Adair County, Kentucky on March 24, 1931. He died at 7:14 A.M., Friday, May 12, 2023 in Greensburg. Age: 92
He professed faith in Christ and was a member of Campbellsville Baptist Church.
Jolly served his country honorably in the United States Army.
He was a retired employee of Carnation Milk Company and had worked ten years at Fruit of the Loom in Campbellsville.
He was united in marriage to Elsa Katheryn Lee on December 15, 1951 and she preceded him in death September 18, 2022.
Jolly is survived by two sons and four daughters: Linda and Brent McCubbin, David and Connie Humphress, Patti and Terry Brown, Charlotte Reynolds and companion, Randy Biggs, John Daniel (J.D.) and Anna Humphress and Lisa Humphress Myers; fourteen grandchildren: B. J. and Deanna Newton, Erica McCubbin, Jessica McGregor, Brian and Carrie Humphress, Cameron and Deana Humphress, Conleigh and Josh Graves, Lindsay and Justin Newton, Brittany and Darian Gray, Brehm and Bethany Reynolds, Jesse and Dr. Rachel Reynolds, Sydney Humphress and fiance’, Dalton Blair, Evan Humphress, Chelsea and Michelle Nelson and Jordan and Richard Hunt; twenty-four great-grandchildren and five great-great-grandchildren; two brothers and one sister: Johnny and Donald Humphress and wife, Charlotte of Campbellsville and Kathleen Campos of California; and several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends.
Jolly was also preceded in death by two brothers: Guy Eula Humphress and Alvin Hancel Humphress.
