Michael Scott Phillips, of Campbellsville, the son of the late Kenneth and Mary Bastin Phillips, was born August 22, 1971, in Lincoln County, KY and departed this life on Saturday, January 27, 2024, at Taylor Regional Hospital in Campbellsville. He was 52 years of age.
He was a member of the Broadway Church of Christ, and was employed as a sales associate at Wal-Mart. He enjoyed rock collecting, thrift store shopping, and selling antiques on Facebook Marketplace and also enjoyed photography.
Survivors include his wife: Tracy Phillips of Campbellsville, Three children: Riley Phillips and significant other Micah Baamonde, Gavin Phillips, and Mariah Holmes all of Campbellsville.
Also surviving are five brothers and sisters: Loretta Wright (Doug), Marilyn Brown, Robbie Phillips, Larry Phillips, and Jerome Phillips, along with a special nephew: Josh Esters (Haley).
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother: Kenneth “Spanky” Phillips.
There will be a funeral service for Michael Scott Phillips at 11:00 A.M. Wednesday, January 31, 2024, in the chapel of L.R. Petty Funeral Home with burial to follow in Campbellsville Memorial Gardens. Bro. Edd Sterchi will officiate
The family requests visitation on Tuesday, January 30, 2024, at 5:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. at the funeral home.
Serving as Pallbearers will be: Jason Potter, Brennan Potter, Mason Potter, William “Willie” Key, Ayden McMinn, Dom McMinn, and Cory Gonzalez.

Melva Dean Wood of Campbellsville, daughter of the late David Guy Wood and Ethel Dile Wood, was born May 19, 1954 in Jefferson County Kentucky. She died at 4:43 A.M., Tuesday, January 23, 2024 in Louisville. Age: 69
She professed faith in Christ and was a member of Green River Memorial Baptist Church.
Melva retired from Cox Interior and was a former cosmetologist.
She loved her family and was a nice and genuine person wherever she was.
She is survived by two daughters: Amanda Wilson and fiancé, Cesar Perez and Angela Newton and husband, Nicholas of Campbellsville; five grandchildren: Saylor Wilson, Brady Cook and wife, Meleah, Brylee Rainwater and husband, Jeremy, Brenton Newton and Bryzon Newton; two great-grandchildren: Cora Cook and Beau Rainwater and one expected great-grandchild; three sisters and four brothers: Norma Wright and husband, Kelly, Helen Rainwater, Sue Hunt and husband, Jim, George Wood and wife, Sharon, Joe Wood and wife, Vickie, Guy Wood and wife, Rebecca and Bobby Wood and wife, Rebecca; several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends.
Melva was also preceded in death by two brothers, Les Wood and Raymond Wood.

Sharon Spradlin Ford, 70, of Campbellsville, Kentucky, daughter of the late Elmon Spradlin and Helen Gilpin Spradlin was born February 10th, 1952, in Liberty, KY, and departed this life on January 22nd, 2024 at St. Joseph Hospital in Lexington.
Sharon united in marriage to Mr. Gerald Ford on July 2nd, 1977. He preceded her in death on March 14th, 2014.
Sharon was an author and enjoyed writing poetry. She professed faith in Christ and was of the Baptist faith.
Sharon is survived by:
Two children: Christopher Ford of Campbellsville; and Jennifer Haffly and her husband, Anthony, of Winchester
Three grandchildren: Ezeikel Ford of MN, Rinoa Haffly, and Senna Haffly, both of Winchester
A host of other relatives and friends
