Danny Wayne Vanover, of Campbellsville, the son of the late Lillian Mullins Vanover, was born October 13, 1952 in Seco, KY and departed this life on Sunday, January 14, 2024 at Norton Hospital in Louisville. He was 71 years of age.
He professed faith in Christ and attended Liberty Baptist Church. He served his country honorably in the United States Army as a First Sergeant, serving with Military Police, and as a recruiter. He was a patriot and proud of his 25 plus years of service. He was a former employee of Preferred Mobile Homes in Campbellsville and also in sales at Don Franklin Auto. He enjoyed fishing, camping, and his dog, Hunter. He loved God and family and was a storyteller.
He is survived by his wife Carolyn Payton Vanover, his two daughters: Tracy Vanover and Ashley Vanover. Two grandchildren: McKenzie Lile and fiancé Nate, and Zackary Lile. One great-grandson: Hudson Wayne Mitchell. One sister: Vicky Parrot (Silas) of Jenkins.
Also surviving are one Sister-in-law: Regina Vanover of Seco, one Brother–in-law: Dallas Payton (Melissa) of Campbellsville. A Niece, Hillary Roberts and a host of other extended family and friends.
Besides his mother, he was preceded in death by one brother Tommy Vanover.
There will be a funeral service for Danny Wayne Vanover at 1:00 P.M. Thursday, January 18, 2024 in the chapel of L.R. Petty Funeral Home. Bro. Robert Langlois will officiate. Burial will follow in the Lebanon National Cemetery with full military honors by the Marion County Veterans Honor Guard.
The family requests visitation on Thursday, January 18, 2024 at 11:00 A.M. until time of the service.
Memorials are suggested to be donations to the Taylor County Food Bank and can be made at the funeral home.

Walter Duane “Lightening” Followell, 76, of Campbellsville, Kentucky, son of the late Dewey Hamilton Followell and Nellie Gladys Paris Followell was born August 3rd, 1947, in Marion County, KY, and departed this life on January 13th, 2024 at Taylor Regional Hospital.
Duane united in marriage to Ms. Shirley Lee Coomer on October 5th, 1974. She survives.
He worked at Parker Kalon for many years. He enjoyed farming and tractors. He loved watching rodeos. Duane professed faith in Christ and was of the Baptist faith.
Besides his wife, Duane is survived by:
Brothers and sisters-in-law: Wayne Coomer and his wife, Jane, of Campbellsville; Mary Burton and her husband, Dwight, of Columbia; and Sharon Buckman, and her husband, Joe, of Campbellsville
Four nephews: Michael and his wife, Lisa; Chris Buckman; Joey Buckman and his wife, Nicole, all of Campbellsville, and Connor Burton of Columbia
A host of other relatives and friends
Duane was preceded in death by:
Three sisters: Katherine Followell, Grover Sue Followell, and Linda Louise Followell
VISITATION: Monday, January 15th, 2024 from 5:00 pm – 8:00 pm at Auberry Funeral Home in downtown Campbellsville.
FUNERAL: Tuesday, January 16th, 2024 at 12:00 pm at Auberry Funeral Home in downtown Campbellsville.
PALLBEARERS: Joe Buckman, Wayne Coomer, Dwight Burton, Michael Burton, Connor Burton, Chris Buckman, and Joey Buckman

Danny Lewis Hunt, of Campbellsville, the son of the late Charles E. Hunt and Frances Fawcett Hunt, was born July 27, 1961 in Campbellsville and departed this life on Saturday, January 13, 2024 in Louisville. He was 62 years of age.
He professed faith in Christ and was a member of Palestine Baptist Church. He was a veteran having served his country in the United States Navy. He was an electronic technician and was an installer of security systems and cameras in businesses and automobiles.
He is survived by one brother and one sister: Charles Douglas Hunt and wife Roxie of Glasgow, and Debbie Oliver and husband David of Bardstown along with a host of nieces and nephews.
There will be a graveside service to honor the life of Danny Lewis Hunt on Wednesday, January 17, 2024 at 2:00 P.M. at Campbellsville Memorial Gardens.
Bro. Freddy Thompson will officiate.
