Nancy Hunt

Nancy Hunt of Campbellsville, daughter of the late Walter Charles Burress and Lyda Lois Blankenship Burress, was born September 12, 1938 in Marion County, Kentucky.  She died at 10:34 A.M., Sunday, December 18, 2022 in Campbellsville.   Age: 84

She professed faith in Christ and was a member of Mt. Gilboa Baptist Church, where she led music and was a Sunday School teacher.  Nancy had also played piano at Mt. Washington Baptist Church before she married.

Nancy was a retired Branch Manager of Citizens Bank and Trust Company after forty-nine years of service.  She was a former President of the Gideon Auxiliary.

She united in marriage to Darrell Hunt June 17, 1956.

She was a devoted wife and mother and enjoyed making delicious and beautiful cakes for special occasions.

Besides her husband, Darrell Hunt of Campbellsville, Nancy is survived by three daughters:  Donna Faulkner and husband, Scott and Cindy Hunt of Campbellsville and Allison Hunt and fiancé, Thomas Bowen and his son, T. J. of Bellingham, Washington; two grandsons: Chris Faulkner of Louisville and Zack Faulkner of Campbellsville; one brother, Darrel Burress of Shepherdsville; several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends.

She was also preceded in death by one brother and two sisters:  Charles Burress, LaQuita Hunt and Della Mae Burress in infancy.

Ruth Osborne

Ruth Esther Cox Osborne, 95, of Elkhorn, Kentucky, daughter of the late Omer Lee Cox and Flossie Catherine Roberts, was born May 15, 1927, in Lincoln County and departed this life on Saturday, December 17, 2022 at Taylor Regional Hospital.
Ruth professed her faith in Christ and attended Feathersburg First Church of God. She loved crocheting, gardening, and mowing her yard. Ruth worked in Food Services at Taylor County High School for over 10 years.
She was united in marriage to Paul Osborne on March 12, 1945, and he preceded her in death in March, 2011.
Survived by four children: Rodger Osborne and wife, Judy, of Stuart, Florida; Gary Osborne and wife, Shirlene, of Campbellsville; Pat Dudgeon and husband, Darrell, of Campbellsville; and Lynn Osborne and wife, Pam, of Bowling Green.
Seven grandchildren: Darin Osborne and wife, Jen, of Stuart, Florida; Amanda White and husband, Brandon, of Harrodsburg; Emily Anderson and husband, Greg, of Cullman, Alabama; Natalie Brockman and husband, Kurt, of Lexington; Abigail Dengel and husband, Billy, of Campbellsville; Brent Dudgeon and wife, Linda, of Crestwood; and Jackie Dessyn and husband, Taylor, of Hendersonville, Tennessee.
14 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by 2 brothers and 1 sister: Lawrence Cox, Lemmie Cox and Alma Richardson.

VISITATION: Tuesday, December 20, 2022, from 5pm-8pm EST at Auberry Funeral Home in downtown Campbellsville.

FUNERAL: Wednesday, December 21, 2022, at 10 am EST at Auberry Funeral Home in downtown Campbellsville.

Bro. Alex Cox will be officiating the service.

Mildred Thompson of Campbellsville, daughter of the late Hollis Bricken and Georgia Berry Bricken, was born April 19, 1938 in Taylor County, Kentucky.  She died at 6:37 A.M., Saturday, December 17, 2022 in Campbellsville.   Age: 84

She professed faith in Christ and attended Mt. Zion Church of God.

Mildred was an awesome mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She lived life to the fullest and usually had a smile and bubbly personality. She dearly loved her family and enjoyed cooking Sunday dinners for them. She loved flowers and created beautiful flower beds.

She united in marriage to Charles Thompson October 1956. He preceded her in death May 18, 2012

She is survived by one son and one daughter: Doug Thompson and wife Annette of Campbellsville, Janet Eastridge and husband Greg of Ashland; eight grandchildren:  Diane Phillips, Karen Campbell, Jayne Litton and husband Grant of Campbellsville, Adam Milby and wife Sally of Pierce, Amber Feldgenhauer and husband Alex of Nashville, Denise Mickey and husband Matthew of Charlotte, N.C., Jonathan Eastridge and wife Crystal of Ashland, and Susan Trimble and husband Nick of Catlettsburg; eleven great-grandchildren; two brothers and one sister: Randy Bricken Sr. of Campbellsville, Jay Bricken and wife Louise, and Joann Johnson and husband Lloyd of Louisville; several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends.

She was also preceded in death by two daughters, Donna Collins June 24, 2012 and Marcia Ann Milby August, 2022; and one brother, Samuel “Sammy” Bricken.
